I couldn't believe it. Did you think that nobody would notice the DIFFERENCE???? The "Shower Fresh" SMELLS like rancid old cologne. I thought and hoped it might have had a WRONG label. No where on the bottle does it say "New Smell" Because that's the word to describe it "SMELL" It basically Stinks. Please tell me WHY did you change a good thing. I live in the Desert, where the temperatures reach well over a *112 degrees. I NEED MY original sweet "Shower Fresh Scent", Invisible Dry, Lady Speed Stick Back.

NEW SHOWER FRESH "smell" STINKS

I have been using thie "shower fresh" deodorant for many years. Have even introduced it to my daughter many years ago. The reason I liked it so much was because it worked well and had a very mild scent. The new scent is very strong and, I hate to be so dramatic, an assault to my senses. It is an inescapable smell - you are aware of it all day long. I'm disappointed I will have to discontinue using this product. With any luck, the original scent will return.

New "shower fresh" scent

The new cool and fresh scent is awful! I'm not sure why change something that has been so dependable for so long! I have been using this since high school. At least 20 years! I thought it was a mistake until I went all around town smelling them and realized this is the new reality. Please please PLEASE bring back the original cool and fresh scent! Even my boyfriend tells me I don't smell like me anymore :-( After wearing something for so long, it kind of becomes a part of who you are. I see other consumers are feeling the same way. Please listen to us. Thank you.

So upset that the cool and fresh scent has been changed after YEARS of being dependable. I thought it was a mistake at first but after going all over town smelling them all, I realize it is not. I have tried different deodorants over the years and have always come back to my tried and true. I've been using cool and fresh for 20 years. It has become a part of who I am. Even my boyfriend said "you don't smell like you" The new scent is awful to me! It gives me a headache, and I just find it extremely unpleasant! Please please PLEASE bring back the original cool and fresh scent. I can see that others are feeling the same as I am. I'm down to my last one and dreading what I will have to turn to when its gone.

I have been using this same product for years and do not like the new fragrance. It is not a pleasant scent. All day long I have this aggressive and unpleasant scent. New and improved is definitely a Fail. You have ruined a good thing. Not only I will have to find a new scent, I may have to change product all together.

Disappointing new fragrance

Please bring back the old scent. Within 5 minutes of putting on the new version I had a headache. It reeks!!! Everyone at work has been asking me why I smell like a cleaner. I used the old version of Cool & Fresh for years. I'm going to have to switch to a different brand now. :(

The 'new and improved' cool & fresh is awful!

I am so disappointed right now! I've literally been using the Shower Fresh scent for as long as I've been a deodorant wearer (at least 15 years). I LOVED that the scent was light and fresh but still prevented odor and wetness. I bought a new stick a couple weeks ago and I am so unhappy with the new fragrance. The label didn't even indicate that it was new! It smells literally nothing like the old fragrance. If you're going to create an entirely new fragrance, give it a new name. This new scent is so freaking strong and it's not even a good smell. I smell myself all day long. Deodorants aren't meant to be like a perfume... Unless the old scent is brought back, I'll be finding a new deodorant brand. I'm really irritated by this.

HATE the new scent!

I've used the scent wild freesia for ten plus years and have always loved it. It's also a scent that my husband adored on me. Took forever to find a way to purchase wild freesia when i ran out recently. But i can see why. The new scent is just... not pleasant. My husband doesn't like it either so it looks like I have to play Russian roulette with new deodorant brands since the other scents from this brand also have this similar.... weird smell. Moral of the story Lady Speed Stick, don't fix what isn't broken.

What happened? Why?

I have been an avid fan of the "powder fresh" scent for years- even my husband and tween daughter loved mine so much they started to use it too! I bought some a week ago and thought I got a "bad" or "expired" batch, it was so horrible! It smelled NOTHING like the light baby powder scent it used to! It smells like old, cheap, expired, cologne with a note of old chemicals!!!! Yuck! My whole family hates it now and are pretty much searching for a new brand of deodorant! It gave us all headaches when we used it and first discovered the scent was very "off"... I wish I could get my money back- I bought 10 of them (for the whole family for Christmas)... there was no indication on the packaging that this was a "new" scent so I had no reason to check. Completely disappointed in the company! Can you please go back to the old formula?!? Or maybe I did just get a bad batch?!? Help! :(

What did they do to the scent?!?

I used to LOVE this product. I used the Wild Freesia for years. Now, it's REPULSIVE and I can't stand being around myself right now. WAY TOO STRONG. Where can I find the old product? Anywhere?

I absolutely LOVE the new fragrance. I used to have to apply deodorant on a few times during the day because I felt the scent would fade after sweating.. it would be embarrassing. Now, I simply apply it in the morning and I feel fresh all-day long. The scent is great!
