For Christmas. Cute box and savings at Walmart. I bought easy bake oven extra mixes for her stocking. Lalaloopsy mixes sold out. The commercial sure had her very excited!

She loves it and it's something we do together so were making a lifetime of good memories for her. If you cant afford the over priced cake mix's made for the easy bake oven, just buy any cake mix and store the extra in zip lock bags and freeze for later. You will never regret this purchase.

Happy Grand Daughter

When my 4-year-old son (almost 5) saw this, he clasped his hands together and squealed with excitement! He LOVES to help me in the kitchen and knows all about baking cookies... so how awesome that he gets to have his own mini-sized oven?! I helped (reading instructions), but he mostly took the lead.

It comes fully assembled, just plug it in and turn it on. It has to heat for 20 minutes before you put in your baked goods so make sure you turn it on before you start. Mix up your cookies or cake... it comes with those 2 mixes, a cookie shaping tray, a baking pan, and a spatula. It also comes with measuring spoons shaped like hearts with adorable measurements like a sprinkle and a pinch (for adding water to your mix).

Slide the pan in one side, let it bake, push the pan through to the "cooling" side of the oven for a few minutes, and then pull it out! My kids are SO proud of what they make and have so much fun with this. The cookies didn't quite come out in their shapes (a heart and a flower) so we're still working on perfecting that process--I think we left them in too long! You can buy additional mixes, too.

When we received this oven my daughter was super excited to start baking. First up was the cookies. They didn't stay in the cute shapes. I think we used too much spray to coat the molds. Next up was the strawberry cake. It came out awesome. The kids loved the taste. We can't wait to buy more cake mix to make! The directions were very easy to follow. The oven comes with 1cookie mix and 1cake mix. Very fun mother daughter activity as adult supervision is required.

My 5year old loves it

My daughter received this for her 5th birthday. She loves everything about it. She is able to help with everything but putting it in and taking it out of the oven. She is always looking for something new to bake! I love this item and would recommend it to anyone!

Great Product!

I sooo wish I was a girl again. I remember wanting with ALL my heart a little take and bake oven. Remember those? Between 80's Saturday morning cartoons, commercials regaled us future foodies and passionate cooks with the promise of our first very own oven!

Sadly, I never did get one...until now!

Hello Cupcakes!!

I really cannot imagine any little girl -- or for that matter little boy -- who wouldn't want to get baking in her/his very own oven. All my kids would have charged this on Christmas morning. Seriously, we've raised foodies for kids--all of them know how to bake! Heck my teen son has been baking cinnamon rolls and muffins since he was 9. They came in handy for his senior prom when he baked cupcakes to ask his date! I am all for ANY product that gets kids in the kitchen...and I am sure his future wife will thank me for that!

Welcome Future Foodies!!

This made an awesome gift for our oldest girl who is turning 8. It was wrapped very securely and came with it's own starter kit.  Just wish the pan was a little bigger and came with more mixes. Other than that it was awesome, very informative and easy to set up.

My review

I recently got this from my local Walmart for my older b girls Christmas gift. I actually got this via fed ex but someone in my building took it. Anyways, today I re-bought if that's a word from Walmart today in store. I opened this up and tested it out before putting a touch of gift wrapping paper upon it. I just love!!!
Today I also went and got some regular chocolate chip baking cookies and just wanted to see if I put one in at a time what will happen will, it turned out great I made two cookies and put white frosting in the middle and made a cookie cake lol. Well that sure does beat buying the high price easy bake oven mixes.
I do recommend watching your food while using this product.

Mines was not half as fun as this one growing up

My daughter absolutely loves this oven! She is constantly wanting to cook and bake with me so this was right up her alley when it came to an activity she loved. Plus she is a girly girl and wants everything to be pink, and I mean everything! So when she opened this up and saw that she had her very own oven "that really works" and is PINK, she was over the moon excited! We've baked the cookies and cake mix that came with the oven and decorated everything, which was Lilly's favorite part. Then my boys ate all her treats up and she was very proud of herself.

This Lalaloopsy Baking Oven toy is a win-win: For first impressions & nostalgia!

First, the package itself packs quite a punch. The toy comes solidly packed in an easily recognizable Lalaloopsy box that is freshly adorned with a "new" ribbon-style stamp just in time for holiday shopping, and other eye-catchers such as the familiar pink, orange, and teal coloring. If you care to know for Christmas present-hiding or storing purposes, I noted that the box itself is 19.5” x 10.5” x 9”. The recipient (my daughter) was stoked to tear it open and begin play upon immediate glance – a win for the category of first impression!

Second, for any of us growing up in the 80s and 90s, this item brings back immediate recollection of the easy bake ovens of days past. I have no experience owning or playing with those toys personally, but certainly quickly recalled the lore – a win for the category of nostalgia!

For current Lalaloopsy doll fans and collectors, the toy is definitely identifiable with Crumbs Sugar Cookie and her little sister, Sprinkles. And within seconds, mom said we were up and running with light setup – other than opening and removing, do not worry, because the oven itself has NO ASSEMBLY NECESSARY. Your kiddos are ready to create their own Lalaloopsy kitchen adventures and baking episodes!

I received this toy in exchange for my review, however my opinions are my own. Daughter had no negatives to add and loves to be able to be “baking!” Older brother wanted more ingredients included in this initial box, in order to be able to taste more treats! SO you may want to pay attention to what is included and what else is available for additional purchase. Finally, Mom did note that it is tricky getting the spatula in to remove freshly baked treats from the cooling chamber. Overall: 4/5

Fall birthday? Prepping for Christmas?

Although rated high, the item did not work. Runs on a 120 watt bulb (I think). No information in the manual nor is their a replacement bulb. The saving grace is Walmart is the utmost in returns, never any questions just great service.
