“My first fishbowl”

walmart.com

Timmy, my six month old son, loves this great toy. Each fish makes a different sound and has a different texture. Each fish is big enough that they are easy to grab, but small enough to help him develop coordination. My big kids love teaching him how to put each fish back in the bowl. This toy has been a fun way for my big kids to interact with their little brother.

A Bowl of Fun

I love how each of the fish have a different entertaining quality. They crinkle, squeak, rattle and 'ring' like a bell. Kids love to put objects in something and then take them out. This toy keeps them occupied for quite a while. The different textures and bright colors really stimulate the senses.

Endless Fun for Kids

I just knew the kids were going to love this one, and they did! I have a child that loves to sort objects, and place toys into different types of containers. Out of all the toys they had to open, it was the fish tank they wanted first. The fish tank itself was very soft, and the see through part is a bendable, soft thick, plastic like material. It's also very easy to clean. My 4 year old is a chewer/mouther, so I am always cleaning the toys off. The Fish tank is designed nicely to where it can stand up by itself even though it is cloth too. I found the colors to be bright, and playful. We have been playing a lot of interactive games together with the Fish, like sorting, counting, and identifying the Textures by touch, and sound. I also like that it came with 4 different Fish/Toys/Stuffies for inside the Tank.

Sorting, Counting, and Identifying Textures.

Because the minimum recommended age for this toy is only 6 months, I was worried it would be too babyish for my 11-month-old daughter. But this has turned out to be one of her favorite today. She has so much fun dumping out the sea creatures and placing them back in the bowl one by one. She also likes to shake and squeeze them to hear the different rattling noises they make. And she thinks it's hilarious when I use the bowl as a mini basketball hoop and try to toss the creatures into it. I think she'll enjoy this toy for many more months!

Excellent and engaging toy!

I was given this product to review. My daughter just turned 1 a few weeks ago, so I gave her the "My First Fish Bowl" for her birthday. She loves playing with all the different components, and I think it's a great way to introduce her to the prospect of having a pet. The crab "crinkles", the starfish rattles, the oyster squeaks, and the fish jingles. Great fun for us both!

A Nice Way to Introduce Pets

My little ones (age 9 months and 20 months) both had a fun time with this fish bowl. The 20 month old had an easier time getting her hands in and out to grab the animals and the 9 month old enjoyed chewing on the crinkly toys and being able to grab the toys since they were the perfect size for her hands to grasp! Very fun and interactive toy for your little ones - I would highly recommend!

Fun interactive toy for babies & toddlers!

If you are looking at this toy and thinking you might buy it - stop thinking maybe and just add it to your cart. You will NOT regret this one. My only regret with this was that I didn't have this product when my older kids were babies. My twins love taking the fish (and crab) out of the fish bowl and tossing them back in. They are 9 months old and simply love this toy. From the tags, to the bells inside the fish, to watching the fish drop into the bowl. Great for hand/eye coordination and teaching "in" and "out".

Here, Fishy Fishy!

Recently, we received this cute toy and my son is in love with it. He is currently 6 and a half months old and loves anything colorful and soft and cuddly. We have plenty of Tomy Lamaze toys and they encourage him to use his hands, try out different textures and put the fish in and out of the bowl. He especially love the little tags on the purple fish. I love this toy because it is made of high quality materials, can withstand the drool and usage of a baby, and is super colorful with different fabrics. Also, it is highly affordable and easy to clean. So super important with kids. We love My First Fishbowl.

Adorable and soft. A super sweet toy.

I absolutely adore this toy and so does my 11 month old daughter. The fish, oyster, crab, and star fish are small and squishy, the perfect size for small hands. Each makes a unique sound which keeps her entertained for quite a while. She loves looking at their faces and I even think she is talking to them sometimes. The little aquarium, which is soft flexible plastic, houses all the pieces and is fun for my daughter to play with. We've also started using it with my son to teach him about sea animals and how to take care of an aquarium. It's a great learning opportunity without the risk of losing a friend. I received this toy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own and I never recommend a product I don't use myself or with my family.
