I live the bright colors bad the fact it can be used for infants and then later to play tunes.  

The only thing I did not like was that it takes a lot of hand strength to squeeze the tentacles to get a sound.

We received this as a gift for our baby, she is only 4 mo so she's still a bit young for it , I'm actually writing this review because the tag on the product has few songs to play and learn (row your boat, twinkle little star, and Mary had a little lamb) which I loved because I'm not musically inclined. My only criticism is that the tag also directs you to this site for additional songs......, after searching the site for 5min I gave up trying to find the additional songs, and opted for this review .

Looking for more tunes

smells a bit funny (plasticy) so i do not allow my baby to chew on or anything as i dont quite trust the materials,
however, its a great toy. squeeze the tenticles and it makes noises. comes with a little leaflet with songs you can play such as row row the boat, great for babies as its very colourful. my baby loves staring at the face and grabbing at it.but it will last til they are toddlers so they can then make music with it. its a good size aswel, as big as it should be for the price. overall i am satisfied.

awesome toy

I love Lamaze as does my daughter but this hasn't been a great hit. Might be a bit big for her so maybe she'll grow into it (bought online and it is nearly as big as her!). For the moment she looks briefly at his face but isn't interested in the noises. The toy is well made. The notes are okay, a couple of them sound flat so the tunes don't play that well.

Pretty to look at, although as an adult it's tricky to use never mind a baby. I am glad I brought this in the sale as its really not worth it's full price for what it does. I'm quite disappointed with this purchase.

Vibrant toy

Having previously bought one of these for my daughter, I was so impressed that I bought two more as gifts. Unfortunately, I found them to be made to a considerably lower standard than the one I bought a few years ago. Firstly, there is no vanilla accident on either product, which was part of the reason children are so attracted to out. Secondly, both products are out of tube and therefore sound awful when trying to play a tune as one or two notes are completely flat.

We thought all you would have to do is tap on a leg and it would play a tune. This one, you have to squeeze it.
