I've been using this mascara over 25 years and have never changing considered switching to another. Love it! People ask me frequently what brand I use. That says a lot about the results.

Great product!

This has been my go to mascara since high school , I'm not mid century.  Have found nothing better to separate,  extend and give day long lashes without irritation or smudging.

It works nicely and a little goes a long way! It can get a little clumpy if you use too much but overall, very nice!

Along with your lash primer, plus Rodan & Fields' lash builder, it makes for a perfect combination! This mascara produces nice, long lashes that look as natural as they are!

Lancôme Definicils High Def Mascara is AMAZING

Amazing! My sisters and I have super long natural lashes and we need to have creamy mascara with a a firm applicator. Definicils is the absolute best. No flaking EVER, no smudges after a 12 hour shift  and lashes look naturally long without the caking together, which I think is very tacky, by the way. If you want dramatically long lashes that look natural, this is the mascara for you. I've been wearing it for 15 years.

This is the best mascara hands down. I am on my 5th tube and will never stop using it! I have dry lashes and this mascara seems to condition and hydrate them. It never clumps or flakes. It lengthens, adds volume, and separates lashes. The brush is also the perfect size and the formula has a great consistency. I have sensitive eyes and this does not irritate them. Thank you Lancome for making such an excellent product.

Reason for 3 stars... 1st of all, I love this mascara - best one out there!  Been purchasing this mascara for maybe more than 30 years.  Years ago this tube would last forever; always had a very plentiful amount of product inside the tube.  I noticed about 10-15 yrs ago maybe, that they put less amount of product inside, up the price tremendously and this really is forcing me to find another mascara.  This tube now seems completely dry when I get it.  I have bought from the website, and many different stores, online and at the counter...same thing - DRY.  So sad.  I still try to look for another version of this that I will switch to if I can get more bang for my buck.

MY DEFINICILS MASCARA REVIEW

I truly love the Définicils High-Definition Mascara in the BLACK, NOT the DEEP black!  Unfortunately that is what I decided to purchase this last time.  I have never had a problem with the Black smudging under any circumstances.  And it always comes off clean without having to use anything more than a cleanser.  But the Deep Black smudges horribly!!!!!  Even when I keep lotions and eye creams away from under my eyes...which is ridiculous because that is why we use them, to soften our 'fine' lines, plump and reduce dark circles.  At any rate, I will never, ever buy the Deep Black again!  I am so very disappointed because it still gives the great lashes that I love and have always achieved with the Black.  Now I have 3 full tubes of mascara that I use only in a pinch.

Get the Black, not the Deep Black!
