This model lets you set a temperature and has a remote control.  I like the full featured Lasko heaters.  The problem is they don't tell you how nice this one is, in comparrison to the others.

this thing puts out heat dramatically.  I have used Lasko heaters for years, but none have worked as well as this.  it's in a pretty big space and covers it all.  yes, it's pricier than I'm used to, but turns out to be worth it.

This Heater is HOT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd heater in this brand we have purchased. Very satisfied with the other two and we need another one. So purchased the same heater again!

My son had three of these in his home in Colorado.  I lived with him for two years and they worked perfectly during the cold winters.  He said he had them for several years and were the best he has ever purchased.  So when I experienced the cold winters in Florida this year 2026, I purchased one for my small home.  I used it in the living area during the day when needed and in my bedroom to warm it up before bedtime and in the morning.  The oscillating movement is a plus, which you don't find on other brands.  The controls for heat level and timer are convenient and using the hand control is so convenient.  For the cost, which I find is a bargain, is worth every penny and more.  Highly recommend.

Dependable and efficient.

I've had a LOT of space heaters over my long adult life, and this is the best we've ever had. We use it to take the chill off our large family room, where our TV watching takes place in the evening. The thermostat jumps 2-3° with each bump up, but we'v found that using the 70° setting is very comfortable. The room never gets too hot, and it's just enough to take the chill off. It's silent and can be used to swivel back and forth, but we've found that really isn't necessary. I wish I had found this heater years ago.

Works extremely well

This is my second heater like this.  It works great and with 2 of them going when it is cool, I don't need to run my furnace.  It's great that they have a timer and also a thermostat so they automatically shut off when the desired temp is reached,

Added a Second One

I bought this heater because the basement where I live is too cold all the time. Fortunately it is working wonders and I can fall asleep like a baby. I just select the temperature I want the room to be and the heater automatically turns off when it reaches it, and it kicks in again whenever the temperature starts falling. Best product ever. Highly recommended.

Just what I needed

I was hesitant at first as I live in an OLD apartment and wasn't sure if the wiring could handle the Heater, but it held up fine. This heater does all it says and more. I was pleasantly surprised how well it works! Having moved to NY from Florida last year I get chilly easily and this heater does the trick! LOVE the remote! Very user friendly too! Definitely would recommend this!

Great Heater!

This is my second purchase of this exact same space heater.  My husband bought one last year; it is perfect and delivers heat quickly in any room in our apartment. Living in New York, it can be pretty cold in the winter even after the heat is turned on sometimes on a windy winter night, we find that we need a little something extra. 
The oscillation  feature and remote control is an added perk! The only reason I had to get another one is my husband accidentally dropped the last one and it broke. After researching numerous options for a new or better space heater and reading all the reviews I decided to re-purchase the same model since we loved it so much! I would highly recommend this space heater!

Excellent Space Heater and very safe!

The furnace in my recently bought house doesn't work. I bought this to keep it reasonably warm while I save money to get the furnace fixed. I also purchased one of the radiator style oil heaters. Despite the Lasko being rated higher on every review website, I feel the oil heater was a better value and warms better. Even though it oscilates and blows it doesn't seem to warm far from the unit.

good, but not as great as reviewed

This heater has an odor like burning wire..I did notice that it was wrapped with brown tape and I thought that was strange..We let it run for a half an hour and the odor only got worse..We will try it one more time..Maybe this heater was returned!! I really hate to go through the hassle of returning it.
