My fan from Walmart is PERFECT for the living room, it is quiet and perfect for watching tv and still feeling cool.  I cannot use my AC because it makes a very long and large rattling sound and since its located in the living room, I have to keep my TV volume on very high and that bothers my neighbors upstairs and next door. I live in a senior building and keeping the windows open I cannot get any type of air, so the Fan is PERFECT for what I need.

Works great. Great size for bedside table . Easy to put together and I haven't had to yet with this fan but previous fans like this are quick and easy to disassemble when cleaning blades are needed.

Really pleased with this fan; its quiet and puts out a strong breeze.  This purchase was a replacement for a 16" table fan and I was pleasantly surprised at the air flow from this smaller fan.  Easy to assemble and lightweight for portability but sturdy enough that its not going to topple over.  I would definitely recommend this fan.  Would like to see some other color choices, this one is all black.

Excellent buy

My oldest daughter & I both have cramped bedrooms so we needed fans that are small enough to sit on the dresser, but big enough to cool the rooms down. These are perfect! Not the quietest fans around, but a little background noise doesn't hurt anyone.

Like this fan because it goes back%26forth, replacing a Vornado table top that lasted 17 years, always blowing strongly. 

Bought a black Lasko tabletop a couple years ago, and love it.  This year's purchase (white) just doesn't seem to blow as powerfully as the black one.  Left the black one in the living room to keep cool during the day.  This one is in the bedroom and turned towards the wall if I don't want it blowing directly on me and it circulates air all night. 

Lasko fans are good fans and good value.

Keep that air moving!

Pros: This fan is smooth and quiet, yet sets up a nice breeze in the room. OTHER brands I have tried are loud, vibrate, and they really don't move much air. My experience is that Lasko fans are better than other brands in this price range because of the quiet, effective performance. Assembly is simple and easy.
Cons: The construction is cheap plastic and is somewhat flimsy, but again, it works nicely. Not exactly as pictured. Due to it's size, it should be described as a table fan.
Summary: I do recommend this product for the reasons mentioned in the pros. This fan does what I wanted it to. The plastic construction is offset by the low price. It is a good value.

Good performance and value

This Lasko fan required assembly, which needed to be done delicately, as the plastic grill is VERY lightweight plastic.  It will never survive the usual brushing I've done on other fans to clean them.

The plastic that the fan blades are made of is a mess of white with blotches of light blue/grey, which at first looked like mildew.  It does not clean off; it's embedded in the plastic.

However, the fan DOES work well, and is quiet.

VERY light weight plastic

This fan is cheap and good for the price. It actually has a low setting rather then high,extra high and super high like most fans. The front grill does not have the silver ring or silver lasko logo,its plain black. It is pretty quiet but now and then it will make a weird little noise for a few seconds. The real reason i bought this fan was because a review said it had an actual low setting and they were right. I bought a good amount of much more expensive fans and brought them back because of them lacking a low setting. Overall value is good and worth it.

Noise?

I sleep with a fan. For 12 years I have used a 12 inch SMC brand fan that was getting noisey. So I replaced it with this one. Unfortunately, the Comfort Zone is not powerful enough to be felt enough at 12 feet. Five or six feet, yes, it works well, but not twelve feet. I took my old fan apart, cleaned it and used some wd40, and it is working like new, and it has always been powerful enough to go 12 feet. I put the new fan in the kitchen where I don't need so much power. Easy to put together and fairly quiet.

Not enough power to go 12 feet

This item is real cheap feeling.  The base is light and plastic - not much too it.  The back grill of the fan is plastic and feels very cheap.  The button look and feel cheap.  The fan is pretty noisy when running.  It does do a good job of moving air - just is loud.  I would recommend spending a little more money and getting a different fan unless you want something real cheap you don't care about to move air.
