My cousin and I each got one of these heaters. We both love them! Neither of us have had any issues with them and we bought them back in the fall and have been using them ever since.I would advise everyone to read all the instructions prior to using because that may be the issue that others are having is that they're not using it correctly. Either that or they just happened to get a bad one.

I have a large studio apartment with pretty high ceilings. this heater was able to heat it up comfortably with no problems. I set the thermostat for 80 and within an hour it was turning itself off and on because the room has reached the desired temperature. It kicks out heat as soon as you turn it on! Great performance and purchase Lasko!

Very good heat and Easy to use!

I love love love this heater. I was originally looking for the basic floor space heaters that sit on the floor but came across this one and it peaked my interest. I really enjoy how it sits up high off the ground and the fact that it has a remote control. It allows me to lie in bed and not have to physically get up to adjust the settings. Perfect for those winter months where you don't want to get out of bed. It has a nice smooth sound to it. Not too loud at all either. If  you're considering purchasing it .. get it! You won't regret it.

Best I've had

I use it to take the chill off my open floorplan in my main living area. Purchased a 2nd one for the bedroom. You can set it for a specified amount of time which is great!!!

Set the time youd like it to go for and it rotates

Love the remote, as I need to use it in the mornings when it's chilly before getting out of bed. I also use it at night, and the timed shutoff gives me peace of mind that I won't forget to turn it off. It is perfect for the 14x14' bedroom. Toasty. Not too hot. Just right

Great heater

It heats up large rooms fast, is cheaper than using the old wall mounted heaters, and this brand of heater stays working for years.

Good effective heater for the money. Has auto shutoff feature and oscillator that adds to effectiveness.

Good Buy

So far so good. I purchased a different heater on a Black Friday sale and it was junk...so back to the drawing board I went. Lasko brand has done my family well with past products and this heater had the best reviews out of the few I was looking at. The heater is user friendly and starts warming up right away once set. I have left it unattended before and come back to check on it and the temp has been higher than what I had set it for...but on those occasions it is not actively running. It heats up a small room quickly and I hope it continues to do a good job.

Space heater for small spaces and rooms

This item looks very nice at first.but at first use i have found an unusual issue.
When I turn on the unit, it starts beeping and the display goes crazy switching between "HI" and chaging temperature by itself. I then cannot turn it off with the power button and I have to unplug it.The remote doesn't even syncronize properly with the unit.It's heating up okay but I have no control over it.It's a new item and from the first day having  safty issues. I have returned the item.
