As I havent used this yet, I did turn it on and test it to make sure everything was in. working order before storing till needed. Heated up within seconds, could feel across room. Love that it oscillates and fan blows the air, very quiet. Know it will work great for sons very cold room come winter. Very well made product. Would deffinately recomend!

Great product

Been using this heater in a 12'x24' workshop-utility building while insulating it. It has been doing a good job so far knocking the chill off. I just finished the insulating today, so I'll see how warm it is in the morning. Low tonight 33 degrees. I expect I'll be satisfied with it, as I could tell a big difference in temp. as more insulation went up.

The real test begins !

A gift purchase. Important considerations were other reviews on product, its oscillating feature, remote control, and size. The receiver of this gift item is very pleased with its performance. Both of us have owned Lasko products previously and were satisfied with products. Great shipping from Walmart - as always!!!!

I love the fact that this heater has an automatic temperature setting. Once the room reaches your desired set temperature, the heater turns off to conserve energy. Both the remote control and oscillating features are great. The heater never gets warm to the touch so it's safe to have around children and pets. Great buy for the sale price I paid. I would definitely recommend this item!

Great heater, heats up a room quick!

I bought two and I really like the oscillating feature as well as that they will get a room warm in no time at all. The remote controls are helpful in turning it on and off, but rarely used by me for set up as I set the heater and leave it at the same setting a majority of the time. I have three cats and after their initial curiosity, they pay little attention to them even when they oscillate. They are relatively quiet and take up little space. For Pet Owners: The height of the heater did give me pause because one of my cats likes really warm temperatures and will lay in front of the heater on the floor. He is taller and longer than most domestic cats so I thought this to be a potential problem at first until I realized that he usually lies far enough away to get the heat without getting too hot or in danger of knocking it over should he turn over or stretch out. Still, I keep an eye on him since I have more than one cat and anything goes with a very playful kitten in the house.

Oscillation is great!

I purchased two of these heaters. they both work very well, especially in bedrooms. it puts the heat where you want it or you can oscillate. need to read instructions for temp settings for high and low, little more complicated. but use it as is, and it works great.

Lasko ceramic heater 5521

Only a week of use. So far its great. It is off and on to let my warm space. I could turn it down but I like the warm room . It will stay warm for hours after using it. Im heating one room in a old house. But it capable of heating more. Love the remote.  Doesnt take up space and will be easy to store. Easy to move room to room if needed .

It has 2 settings, high and low. I've had for about 2 weeks. On how it throes out to much heat for a small bedroom. I mainly use the low setting. There is a timer, that goes from 1 hour to 8 hours. That only works on the high setting. So, you have to learn how to use the temperature setting. Once you do that, the item is great.

I have a small glass office which gets very cold, but this heater warms up the area in about 30 minutes which is great! If I had drywall instead of glass walls, I'm sure the heater would heat it in half that time but otherwise, it does a fantastic job!

Great for warming up small areas!

I've been using it for a little over a week; in Mane; in November. Days are 30 (ish) nights are 20.  I 've been using it in my dinning room. This way I can leave the heat turned down in the house. It heats the open area dinning room in about an hour. I think  once it gets really cold around here, this heater will be a good addition to the heating system in the house.  It's quite enough. The remote works. It's worth the money.

Not bad for the money.

This is the second heater I've purchased this fall/winter from WalMart that has stopped working. This one lasted all of 10 DAYS. I don't have $100 to continue wasting on heaters I can't use. The quality of the items Wal Mart is selling is absolute crap.
