This is a superb heater. This is my second Lasko heater. I use one in the bathroom during winter since radiator is not on at certain times. This new one will be used in the living room. It has proved its value over and over. It performs just as described. You will love it.

walmart.com

Quick to heat and cool a room, love the fact that it oscillates and comes with a remote control. Also takes up little floor room and heats and cools more evenly that a smaller floor unit.

I live in a large, basement apartment which is pretty much all open space. I thought I would have to have this heater facing me to just warm me up but it is doing a great job of warming up my living space. The remote control became much more of a convenience than I thought since I needed to move the heater away from myself because it was making it too warm when I had it near me. Great room heater for a good price - well worth it!

Doing a far better job than I thought

Absolutely LOVE this heater. i live in a 2 story duolex and the downstais is cooler than up. Purchased this for downstais living room, but was surprised it had the capacity to warm entire downstairs. very hapoy with this. So easy to use and very quiet.

Great Heater!!

Lasko heater got me through 2 winters and ran 24-7 . Saved me a lot of heating oil and not bad on electric.

Best heater

This heater was perfect during our South Carolina, cold freeze and snow and ice.

i love this heater. I bought it to put in my Ft. room so the heat doesn't come on as much. It's small yet extremely effective. I keep it set on 75 and it does an excellent job and shuts off after reaching the set temperature. My furnace doesn't even come on and I'm very comfortable. The other rooms are chilly but that's fine. LOL
 The price is great also.

Great Deal

It does a pretty good job of heating and everything, but it has all the settings for different temperatures, but the heater will not shut off at the temperatures, basically you have to keep an eye on it or it will just keep pumping out heat. You can set it to 65 which I have and it just keeps running and running and running and does not shut off and that's the lowest temp setting on a high temp setting even a low temp setting it just keeps running it does not thermostatically shut off

It's OK does not thermostatically shut off

It is a very good heater the only thing that as other electrical stuffs it is unpredictable and you might get one that is bad since it left the factory. I had to take mine back but I am purchasing another one again. Plus Walmart got the best price!

It is a good heater

Purchased four of these because of the generally high ratings on Walmart.com. Unfortunately, they aren't all that. They have thermostats but not very sophisticated ones. You cannot choose a specific temp beyond the basic settings, 65, 70, 75, 80 and 85. The average setting for houses is 72 degrees. The closest you can get would be 70 degrees. Two of the four heaters I received keep heating and heating and heating without stopping, despite the fact that I had them set on 70 degrees. I kept hoping that they would shut off but after my wall thermometer was up to 76 degrees, and they were still running (while I was sweating), I finally got the hint and shut them off.

Thermostats are junk.
