I live in a suburb of Chicago and as everyone knows, 2014 has been a challenging winter. I bought this heater when for the first time, everything in my attached two car garage froze. I store everything from cleaning materials, garden chemicals, cases of water and tools along with the wife's car in it. EVERYTHING froze solid, snow and ice stayed where it landed - for days. Well, this heater is a bit too small to actually make it warm, but it does on bang up job of keeping it about 45 degrees in a rather large space. In 26 years, nothing has frozen during the winter - now, it will not freeze again!

Hello, This is not a Lasko heater. Its a Stanley heater. This heater is fantastic. It is the best heater I have ever had. This heater is better than our forced air heating duct system we have in the house. This Stanley heater is extremely quiet, extremely efficient, and totally green in its energy consumption. I only have to use it on the low setting and the thermostat on the first third of the heat level spectrum. I love it. Thank you Stanley for this remarkable heater. I highly recommend it to others and will buy it again in the future.

Got this for my husband so that he could putter around in the garage during the cold months so he doesn't have to wait for better weather to do his projects.  He is diabetic and the tilt swivel allows him to aim it at his feet when he is at his work bench, so he has better circulation in his feet while working!  Perfect!

We live in a travel trailer/fifth wheel and it has done its job. I have no complaints.

Thankful for a working Heater

Great Heater

I got to work with a small generator during power outages. It puts out a enough heat to warm a 20' x 20' room. But not sure how it will do if the outside temp is below 32 degrees yet.

I bought this heater (in Black and Silver) less than a year ago and it seemed to work great, until last week that is. I noticed a crackling sound coming from the 4 function power switch/knob. I turned it OFF immediately to allow time for cool down. I turned it on after several hours and the crackling was only worse, then it quit completely.  What a waste of nearly $50.  I'd consider something else, anything else before buying this Hunk Of Junk! Warranty? Jheeeyah right!

 If you are right beside it then you can feel the heat 
 Save you money and buy a cheaper heater it will work as good as this
 Really surprised how little heat and air it moved
 For the price you would think a small room could be warmed or ou could be a few feet away and feel it
