Weak airflow performance compared to design expectations.

Constructed with robust design and quality materials.

Captures airborne dust particles efficiently.

Ease of use for filtering air in existing rooms using standard furnace filters.  I MacGyvered one of these during the forst fires a few years ago with bubble wrap and packaging tape, and that allowed our sleeping room to have much better air quality.   This is the same concept only built for this purpose.

As I am doing a lot of sanding of floors now in our old house, I needed a method to keep the fine dust cleaned  from the air as I'm working, and this fit the bill.

Easy, functional air filter.

It's a simple design which I like .  The filter cuts noise and air velocity through  it , so don't think you're buying a typical box fan . I wish it was metal -all of it , so that it will last longer maybe ? Time will tell its value .

A filter on a box fan is a good idea. It needs seals on the bottom though. As it is it's just weight holding the filter against the fan, No pressure can really flow that way.

Great air cleaner. I used to during toom renovation and it really helped me to reduce dust from a room. For example cheapest Air Scrubber cost about $300 so win win

Good product and it does its job

Noise level is perfect on high speed!! Kinda on the loud side for white noise sleeping. Does put out a decent breeze. Have it because I have dogs sleeping with me. Filter Helps trap airborne dog hair.

It works!  Like that it's a 20x20x1 filter that I can replace with any type of filter whether it be a hepa grade or dust grade.  Many other air filters are small and your tied to mfg specific replacement cartridges.  It is a box fan and on high speed can be noisy.  But we have on  first speed and it's fine.  Feet are nestled in ends of card board top spacer in box.  Can also use as just a box fan.

Great fan/ air filter !

I was going to attach a filter to the back of a regular fan to make a DIY air purifier until I saw this. It might be a little overpriced for what it is but it certainly looks better than home made. If you buy a dedicated "air purifier" you have to buy their expensive proprietary filters. This takes standard filters so it's less expensive to maintain. I might buy a couple more of these.

Better than DIY

Was purchased to replace a fan that runs continuously in a hallway, and the filter seemed like an option to keep the fan blades and fan structure cleaner. However, fan works fantastic without the filter. Once you put the filter on it pretty much blocks the airflow to useless. So fans great as a fan, but is a filtered air fan. Totally useless!! Not worth the money?

The air flow with the filter in place is so low that it didn't function in a useful capacity for my needs.  
Experience with WalMart was good with the return request.

Defectively weak airflow, I don't understand how the reviews are positive on this… 
From sourcing the cheapest possible materials flimsy plastic, thin frame, very weak motor, filter.. it's just pure trash.
