Quiet Operation

This was a good choice for us. It was easy to put together and it is quiet to operate. The three levels are beneficial. We use it sometimes on days not warm enough for the AC and sometimes with the AC to move the cool air around. It covers a very good amount of space and is perfect for our needs.

COOL QUIET AIR

walmart.com

My oldest daughter & I both have cramped bedrooms so we needed fans that are small enough to sit on the dresser, but big enough to cool the rooms down. These are perfect! Not the quietest fans around, but a little background noise doesn't hurt anyone.

works great!

Really pleased with this fan; its quiet and puts out a strong breeze. This purchase was a replacement for a 16" table fan and I was pleasantly surprised at the air flow from this smaller fan. Easy to assemble and lightweight for portability but sturdy enough that its not going to topple over. I would definitely recommend this fan. Would like to see some other color choices, this one is all black.

Excellent buy

For a s12" fan it does a good job! I have one on my desk and in my kitchen. It save electricity and t takes very little space in my kitchen counter. It's quiet and I bought two. Both do a good job. I recommend Lasko's 12" Table Fans.

great Table top 12" Fans

Would recommend, however, with the qualifier that someone in the household has eyesight sufficient to assemble the thing! Comes in about six pieces and it's pretty straightforward. Can be done in probably three minutes if all goes well. The only problem we encountered was with the round locking nut. We simply couldn't get it to seat properly without it flying off when we turned the fan on. I've had good success with.Lasko products and am enjoying the cool breezes produced by this one…Mike

Beating the heat

This Lasko fan required assembly, which needed to be done delicately, as the plastic grill is VERY lightweight plastic. It will never survive the usual brushing I've done on other fans to clean them.

The plastic that the fan blades are made of is a mess of white with blotches of light blue/grey, which at first looked like mildew. It does not clean off; it's embedded in the plastic.

However, the fan DOES work well, and is quiet.

VERY light weight plastic

This fan is cheap and good for the price. It actually has a low setting rather then high, extra high and super high like most fans. The front grill does not have the silver ring or silver lasko logo, its plain black. It is pretty quiet but now and then it will make a weird little noise for a few seconds. The real reason i bought this fan was because a review said it had an actual low setting and they were right. I bought a good amount of much more expensive fans and brought them back because of them lacking a low setting. Overall value is good and worth it.

Noise?

Pros: This fan is smooth and quiet, yet sets up a nice breeze in the room. OTHER brands I have tried are loud, vibrate, and they really don't move much air. My experience is that Lasko fans are better than other brands in this price range because of the quiet, effective performance. Assembly is simple and easy.
Cons: The construction is cheap plastic and is somewhat flimsy, but again, it works nicely. Not exactly as pictured. Due to it's size, it should be described as a table fan.
Summary: I do recommend this product for the reasons mentioned in the pros. This fan does what I wanted it to. The plastic construction is offset by the low price. It is a good value.

Good performance and value

I sleep with a fan. For 12 years I have used a 12 inch SMC brand fan that was getting noisey. So I replaced it with this one. Unfortunately, the Comfort Zone is not powerful enough to be felt enough at 12 feet. Five or six feet, yes, it works well, but not twelve feet. I took my old fan apart, cleaned it and used some wd40, and it is working like new, and it has always been powerful enough to go 12 feet. I put the new fan in the kitchen where I don't need so much power. Easy to put together and fairly quiet.

Not enough power to go 12 feet

fan came with a broken piece that holds the blades on. rather than take the trouble of returning and reordering, i just taped it to hold it on. Was not damaged per carried, but was damaged by manufacturer. Other than that fan is fine.
