It does pull a lot of air. I have it venting warm air out. Pretty quiet in an of itself. I have foam around the unit in the window and it reduces the sound even more.

I bought 2 of these to put in the upstairs windows on the opposite ends of my home. The air they pull is amazing. They pull the the air from my basement and the fan is on the second floor! I have an open concept home so there are not a lot of walls to hamper the air flow.

These really pull air.

This 16" fan is rated at 1350cfm.  MY MISTAKE!!   I didn't realize that for my 6 rooms, the air wouldn't move enough to bring in the fresh air I wanted.  I'm returning the fan and looking for a cfm rating of 2200 or more.

This was the best purchase I have made in a long time, needed something for a space that mom sleeps. She's bed bound and never really like the AC, I received this today it's been hot for a few days. She sleep for hours after I put this fan in the window.

I have so many years using the same product because is very good and refreshed the house very quickly without the air conditioner for the kitchen is perfect take out all the hotness and you cook comfortably

I purchased 2 of these fans to put into my attic windows - I use my attic for a craft room, and it would become extremely hot during the summer.  These fans have helped so much I do not have to move my machines this summer.  Why I didn't think of getting large window fans sooner is beyond me.  They work beautifully.  They are not to loud but really do their job.

Only retailer with a good price on window fan

Seems a little expensive but I have to get one of these every 5 or 6 years because they die
 This one seems a little louder than my last one.  But it really does move a lot of air.

Good air movement volume

I haven't tested it long term yet but it's stronger than I expected and the sliders are a nice addition to ensure a seal. I only hope the plastic construction will hold up to the temperature extremes of our attic.  Even if it doesn't, there simply aren't many other makers of such fans available here.

Good product, strong performance

Had to return the fan. Very disappointed. It looks good and appeared to be perfect to fit in the window. I tested it before mounting in the window and it clunked and rattled at all speeds. The mount of the plastic blade hub to the motor was loose and sloppy. Also the speed control switch was very hard to turn and clunked into position. I good looking fan that is made very poorly. Very sad.
