[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a similar heater labeled as a Stanley brand, but the Lasko is quieter and quicker to heat up. Also, with the Lasko being forced air I feel it suits my needs to aim the heat where I need it without waiting like I would with a radiant heater.

We have one of these heaters for over 10 years! It has Always been the best. The heat level is great, the positioning was another plus, the fan with or without heat is also a plus. Great heaters from Lasko

I ran this unit 24/7 for several days the one unit I've had over a year never a problem I purchased a second unit run it almost as much never any problems would recommend

excellent product for Non-Stop use

Love the power of this thing although I'm not sure if it turns off by itself so be VERY careful with that. I use this for living room/kitchen(non-carpet) %26 would never use this for a bedroom while i sleep. That said, this was the best heater i could find in terms of raw power. Lasko makes some great products.

Best 1500w Heater?

I bought this heater to heat My Large Living Room 400+ sq. ft.  I ordered it for In store Pick-Up but was concerned that it may not be able to heat a smaller room such as My bedroom, 200+ sq. ft.  It was at My local store within 2 work day's and I was notified to pick it up ahead of projected arrival date! I got it Home plugged it in and it began to do it's Job immediately, in the Big Room! The next morning the outside temperature was +8 F. Inside was a cozy +68 F! The whole house was within moderate temperature! I Love This Thing!

Better than I expected!

Ordered this space heater for our 200 square foot garage home gym.  Puts out perfect amount of heat for chilly early morning or evening workouts with garage door open.  No excuse now to miss a workout because it's cold!  Easy to adjust thermostat.  Sturdy handle and base make it easy to move around.  Cool industrial design is a plus!

Perfect for small garage gym

It's a nice little heater.  I gave it only 4 stars because of the settings.  When you set the thermostat and it reaches that temperature, the heat AND the fan shut off.  I prefer a heater that lets the fan run on in order to cool down the heating elements.  Don't like the heating elements sitting there hot with no air passing by to cool them.  IT DOES however a fan only setting, but you have to remember to turn the know after the heat stops to keep the running.  It's a bit of a pain.  Otherwise I like it fine.

Settings problem . . . .

I really wanted this for outside on the deck, but you'd have to sit directly in front of the thing just to get your legs warm. I decided to move it into our large living room that doesn't get alot of heat due to the poor insulation and the many windows. It's good to boost the indoor space with a little extra heat, I really wouldn't recommend it for outdoor use.

Not for outside

I live in a double wide mobile home with no central heat. After reading the reviews I thought this may be a good heater to place in my main living area... it was not. it is quiet, and safe for kids. I put it in my childs bedroom. We now have plenty of heat for all 4 bedrooms and the main area, as I also bought a Hyper Tough heater, which is what I would recommend. They're small, but do a wonderful job.

It doesn't pivot it doesn't blow. You have to literally have it 1 foot away from your legs just to feel the heat. I bought another heater $25 utility heater and it takes the chill off the house but this heater it does not for it to be used in a garage or you using the warehouse or something I don't know. Maybe I got a bad one. It doesn't blow. We'll be taking it back and give me a refund.
