I know inflation has went up but those type fans used to be $10 and that is almost twice as much so I don't agree with the price.. because I was used to getting them between 10 to 12 dollar

I've only had this fan for a couple of weeks now. I bought it because it can get very warm on the top floor of an apartment building during the summer. Our last box fan was extremely noisy and didn't seem to be super effective. Can you still hear this one running? Yes. But I can attest to this fan being significantly more quiet than a typical, cheaper box fan. I'm not sure why, but it is. After reading other reviews, I decided to try and place the fan in the window, turning the fan facing outside during the hottest parts of the day, hoping to expel the hot air inside and at the same time, not push more hot air inside. Doing that made it so much cooler during the day! Then at night, I would turn the fan towards the inside so it blew the cool air in. So I think my success with this fan is partially contributed to the fan but also to this new technique. I don't know why I didn't try it before. This fan works great if you're on a small budget.

Quiet, effective box fan

I had purchased a Lasko 3723 a few years ago. When I went to the same store, they were selling the model 3733. However, it was much noisier, so I returned it. Searching I found that Walmart is one of the few stores that carry the slightly more expensive 3723 model. However, the noise level of the 3723 is much lower it is worth the extra few dollars. And it allows me to to keep the fan on all night without being bothered by noise.

Quiet fan

Have had these fans in years passed. They are great. Just purchased two new fans, because I wore out the other ones afters years of use. They pull in the cool air from outside with no problems. I run them all night during the summer. Just place them in front of my screen doors and cool my house. You won't be disappointed.

I had the same product for 8 years. I ran the fan practically every day to keep the air circulated in my living room as live in Arizona, and not possible to open windows in the heat. A friend borrowed it for a day when her AC wasn't working and when returning it, dropped it on my patio. It made a slight noise after that so decided to replace it. Great fan.

Lasko Box Fan

I need a decent fan to circulate air in my large work shed. I needed it to be quiet and one of the reviews said this fan was quiet.
Thankfully and so far, it is very quiet and strong enough to do what I need. So it appears to be a good fan at a good price (say this for $5 more on Amazon).

Quiet at high speed. Love it.

This is really flimsy, the plastic feet you attach is hard to make it stand up well without wedging it near something. the fan is really light and shakes bad when on. It will do for the covered porch for now and I hope it holds up and does not burn out.

Not so great, but will do.

Do not buy this fan. There are three speeds. The first speed the fan will stand up by itself. But when you turn the speed to number two and number three. the fan falls over this fan is too skinny very dangerous

Dangerous

Advertised with special design, more air flow, quieter, but put side by side with an older cheaper model that I was replacing and there was no measurable difference in either. Spent twice the money. Not worth the extra cost. Go with the cheaper model.
