I have a home on pillars and the floors do get a little chilly on the north side. I have a gas-fired central heat home system and this heater makes an excellent addition for the north wall. It is quiet and works as efficiently as promised. Depending on the room size, it does takes a little while to reach its desired/set temperature, but when it does, it controls it very well.

The heater is light weight with handles to carry easily from room to room. It is silent as described and the heat warms up a room 20 by 18 within 10 minutes or less. Definitely worth the buy and I have ordered one for a relative. If quietness and power is what your looking for then this is the heater for you.

This heater puts out plenty of heat for a small space heater. It is silent as advertised, which is nice when talking, listening to music, or watching tv. There is a timer on it, which is very convenient. My only complaint is that the plastic ends don't sit perfectly level on the hard floor. It may be slightly defective, but it wasn't worth the trouble of exchanging it for another.

toasty heater

I ordered two of these heaters after I saw how great the one my Office Manager ordered for our office worked.

I turn the one on in my bedroom, which is upstairs, when I get home in the evening and set the timer for it to go off an hour after my husband and I go to bed. It keeps the room nice and toasty, and I don't have to crank my heat up at night. I only wish it had a remote control so that I can turn it off and/or on without getting out of the bed.

I do not feel the same way about the one I have in my living room downstairs. I definitely like this heater better than the small ones I have purchased in the past. I only wish that as a part of the description, the manufacturer would have stated the size rooms (square footage) in which this heater would work best.

The heaters are so quiet, so I find myself triple checking to ensure that the heaters are off at night and before I leave the house each day.

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend these heaters to anyone. So far, it does not appear that it has dramatically impacted my Electric bill.

Pleased with purchase

I'm really enjoying the heat this unit outputs. I read the other reviews and the positive things are true. There is a 2 degree difference. if you want 66, put the unit on 68. I really like it because it is not a dry heat. I can still breathe at night without my sinus drying up. I know the timer feature is an excellent addition, but I've yet to use it. One thing to remember is to adjust to the desired temperature each time you turn on the unit. I was kind of dissapointed that I did not note that there was not a remote.,,but that's Ok. I'm considering getting another one in the future if needed. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent Space Comfort

Since I live in an older home with no heat, this product is great for heating the room I use most. It's quiet, cuts the cold enough to make the room comfortable and shuts off when it reaches the set temperature. I plan to purchase at least two more, for my sewing room and bathroom.

Wish I'd bought this years ago.

haven't got an electric bill yet but it hasn't been that cold either. I use it in my rv when I'm plugged in. works great. probably not good w/kiddos around as the top gets hot . way better than the little box heaters.

good heater

This heater is quieter than others I have purchased in the past. It's probably because it does not have a fan. That said, the size of this thing makes it almost unpractical for use in an average bedroom; which it was intended for. This heater would have been great if it were half the size. Not too satisfied with it.

"Bulky"

Provides sufficient heat, and is totally quiet as there are no fans on this heater. I do have some concern about the digital thermostat. Due to the fact that the heat is not being circulated by a fan, the heat stays around the heater, the temp in that area becomes elevated soon after turning on the heater, so the unit shuts itself off before the room has warmed up, as it has satisfied the temp requirement in the immediate area of the heater.

the heater works great (and silently) raising the temperature in my vaulted great room, BUT do not leave plugged in while not in use. The heater continues to drain electricity and your bill will skyrocket without benefiting from any heat. No other way to turn it off. For this reason, I give 3 stars.
