Tires Matter

I have had tried just about every tire out there and I can tell you this, these tires are by far the best tires I have ever purchased, I read all the reviews on them I could find and not one of them spoke about how these have a rim guard like that of an atv tire, the rim sits back almost a half inch which is something I didn't know till they pulled my car out, I was very impressed when I first seen them on my car, these tires not only function better than any tire I have used but they look better, nice and smooth on the side wall, there is not all kinds of raised lettering and funky looking design patterns, they take tire treatment like no other and look absolutely amazing, not to mention how easy they are to keep clean. Driving the car for the first time I immediately noticed the steering sensitivity, so much better than my Goodyear's I replaced, braking was improved, overall handling and cornering was better, and the ride at 80mph on the highway was a dream come true, soooo smooth and quiet, these tires were priced same as my top of the line Goodyear's if not cheaper than any other tire on this level of quality and tread miles warranty, when I seen the 45 day money back guarantee I figured heck mise we'll try em, know I see why they offer that because there is no way in heck you won't like them. I am very happy with these tires, so glad I did my homework and looked around, this was the tire I was trying to find, Toyo is the only tire I will be buying in the future, I drive a AWD 3.6 GMC Terrain with Camaro stock 18's and I went to my dealer and bought 245/60/18's, this is the perfect setup on this car, and had them installed and I'm glad I did, basic tire shops, basically all tire shops besides dealers put the weights on the outside edge in the inside of the wheel, dealers don't, they put there weights on the flat spot on the middle of the wheel, trust me people if you want your tires balanced perfectly like I do, take you vehicle to quality tire shop and ask them how they balance there tires to make sure, dealers have a special balance machine I forgot what it's called maybe rock guard or something because it takes into consideration typical road conditions, what a difference, 0-80 mph a absolutely zero wheel or tire wobble on my car. My car has 22,000 miles and brand new rims with these tires, I couldn't be happier. Thanks Toyo, hard to find company's that give you your money's worth.

Very nice tires

Toyo Tires

200 miles driven on these tires mainly driving round trip to Palm Desert from L.A. Slightly more road noise than the OE Pirellis but acceptable. Like the tread depth on the Q/Ts. Expecting these to double the O.E. tire tread life. Noticable bounciness maybe will reduce over time. My wife thinks the ride is fine though. Essentially, at the price point of the Q/T, we get 4 tires for the price of 3 compared to OE tires. Wife is a spirited driver, handling on these still fantastic for this vehicle. Q/Ts are identifed as Made in USA on the sidewall.

More affordable than OE Tires

Put these on my wife's 2016 Porsche Cayenne when the factory Continentals wore out. The Contis were OK, but bald at 20,000 miles of city driving. I liked the looks and the price of these Q/T's. Well, the difference in the vehicle was night and day. The Toyo's were so much smoother riding and quieter, it was and still is amazing. The Toyos' now have 20,000 miles on them and I don't think they are half worn down (whereas the Contis were bald). I was so impressed, I just ordered a set of Toyo H/T II's for my small RV. And, when the Contis on my new Chevy Suburban wear out, I will be putting the Toyo Q/T's on it as well.

Excellent replacement tire

I purchased brand new vehicle & these are the original tires. My vehicle has almost 90k highway miles & I have never had a problem. It's time to get more & am currently looking to replace with the same. Simply Amazing!

Outstanding

I just purchased a set of four Open Country Q/T's. These are excellent tires. Steering is once again responsive, the ride is quiet and the rolling resistance from my prior tires is substantially reduced. My power steering rack thanks You!

Excellent

Needing deep tread and longer mileage wear on a set of all season tires for my GL450, the QT fit all my wishes for a set of fitment. I wore out 3 sets of expensive brands in 70,000 miles. They were rated as all season tires, but they were never good for second season of winter driving due to the tread depth too shallow after 10,000 miles.
 
 
 
 I like that QT start out with 12/32 tread depth. at least 3/32 more than others that come in the 275/55R19 size. From the minimal tread wear after 1500 miles, I am confident that the QT will give me the confident to drive up Mammoth 2 straight winter season.
 
 
 
 The QT took about 500 miles to break in. The rolling resistance was minimal from the beginning; the tread was quiet but the side walls was pretty stiff and generated bouncy noises until they broke in after about 500 miles. The sidewalls are still a bit noisier than the other 3 sets that i had on the GL, but only slightly.
 
 
 
 I am mostly satisfied about the tread depth. The QT has 65,000 mile warranty which would be more than 5 years of mileage for my GL. I would be pretty stoke if they last more than 40,000 and give me the confidence for 3 seasons of driving up to Mammoth.
 
 
 
 So far so good. I will update if something unexpected happens.

Deep Tread, Good Overall Performer

I've tried theses Open Country on my VW Touareg TDI in the 265/50 R19 size. As soon as I drove away from the installation they felt and sounded like I was driving a bulldozer with metal tracks. At high speeds they were just plain noisy. My dealer checked the alignment and found no issues which we didn't anticipate as the Bridgestone tires that came off had even wear. The dealer suggested I drive them some more to see if they would " brake in" I made a 300 mile round trip and a few 20 mile round trips and they actually seemed to get worse.! For those of you who don't understand driving a diesel has inherent engine noise compared with gas or electric so for me to complain about the noise of these tires it means they are extremely noisy. I really wanted to like these tires as I like the look and the ratings however they are coming off.

Extremely Noisy

I bough a set of QT's for my wife's Nissan Rogue. From Day 1 they are the worst tires I have ever had on a vehicle. Two of the rear tires were replaced by the dealership for road noise. I have been waiting 6 months for the front tires to be replaced by the dealer. They keep telling me they are on back order. The tires that were replaced had 60,000 miles on them. They had no road noise and rode perfectly. These QT's are junk. If the dealer is telling me the truth about the two replacements being on back order for months, Toyo cares nothing about their customers.
