[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a very pretty lava lamp and I would recommend it to anyone else that loves tham like I do! product is great,delivery was great and on time. Get you or your child a lave lamp and put it in a safe place from child,you won't regret it!!!!!

Just like the ones in the 60's. Lamp was shipped incredibly fast. Everything was packed very well. Took out of the box and assembled per instructions. After being on for about 1.5 hours, the lava started doing it's thing. One word of caution about this lamp. The base gets very hot. So, I wouldn't recommend leaving it on for long periods unattended or using it by something that can catch fire (curtains, carpet, etc).. Peace

The black wax, lava, can not be seen through cloudy purple liquid it is suspended in. It's so cloudy that you can't not even see any light trying to escape through the jar.  

If you take out all the 3 to 4 star ratings it is 50/50 mixed ratings being in the one star side. It is sad because this would have been excellent product should it have worked properly. 

I love lava lamps was ready to purchase more but I have reconsidered and will not purchase again or recommend. 

I hope the Seller, and or the manufacturer Schylling to make this right ! Wal-Mart do let this seller or manufacturer make you into a “Shcyll”!

So Cloudy You Can't Enjoy!

It was cloudy out of the box.  I've done what was recommended to clear it up but to no avail.  If it doesn't clear up in the next day or two, I'm returning it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The liquid is not the color that was presented that it should be it ended up being when the light was on the bottom would look yellow and the top part of the liquid was the purple and it wasn't clear as what it was said to be with the black.
I emailed the company never got a response and I am in the middle of having it returned

Save your time and money. The liquid is so dark you can't even see the light or lava once it starts to flow.

Don't waste your time or money
