[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I repaired my lawn in certain places with a lawn potting and 911 seed. The grass grew quickly with a few days of heat and obviously a good watering. I am very satisfied with this product.

Efficient Fast Quality

Well I was hesitant to buy this product based on all the negative reviews. I had to do something and didn't want to rip it up so I went for it. I believe the product performed well, I had an approximately 10x16 spot so I spread the whole bag and hoped for the best. I watered it every day and we are late bloomers up here in northern Alberta so I knew it would take a bit of time.  It filled in very well and 1 month later its ready for its first cut. The area doesn't get a lot of sun due the house next to me so I knew it would take a bit longer to grow.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I purchased this product a few weeks ago and wanted to really rescue the lawn.  Unfortunately, this lawn response 911 product didn't do better than the turf builder fertilizer I purchased for the backyard.   I wouldn't recommend it.

Not Any Better Than Regular

I have purchased two 18.5 bags and have spread across the front and back.  My lawn is full of creepy charles and other weeds.  The grass is being choked out.  To date, I've seen very little improvement.  First bag when on around spring, second bag was applied two weeks ago with few days of rain and my efforts of watering.  Taking longer than I thought it would based of your posted reviews.

Still waiting for an improvement

I had a few bare patch's in my front lawn.  Bought two bags of this seed and a bunch of top soil.  I put a thin layer of top soil and a good spreading of this seed over and it's been weeks watering everyday and nothing came up.  Extremely disappointed and was a waste of money

second time I have bought your 911 product.  worked well last time so bought it again.... no such result this time... removed moss, de=thatched, airiated and top dressed prior to applying the product.... rolled the product in with a light roller.  that was 3 weeks ago and very little growth at this point...  after a week seeded again with your turn builder product... again no results... have you changed your formula????

very poor results

I usually avoid writing these reviews, but I'm so disappointed with this product. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I used this last Fall to overseed and fix a few bad patches where some dogs peed. It's Spring now, and what's grown from it is not grass... it's like some really thick weed, almost like crab grass. If you look at the photos, you can see it's not quite the grass you're expecting, so be very careful. I had to dig out all of these shoots, and repatch this area where I used this stuff. I won't be buying this again; I'll stick to the grass seeds and make my own mix.

Avoid this product at all costs

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After using Scotts Lawn response I have not seen a noticable difference to my lawn. Not sure if it is the product, my lawn, or other weather based factors but overall I would not buy this product again.

Product Did Not Work

I bought this product almost a month ago, I dethatched my lawn where the grass was thin, then applied top soil and then mixed in this product.  After a couple of weeks of routine watering, almost daily, there was no sign of growth. I applied additional seed and have continued to water my lawn with no signs of any seeds germinating after almost a month.  The weather has been optimal and still no signs of growth from this product.  I am wondering if the product contains live seeds. Since I will have to buy an alternate product, I would like to take advantage of the "No-quibble guarantee"

Completely useless

Purchases this at one of the large box stores,  thought sure why not try it, it's a name brand… had to wait for the warmer weather to put it down. After 8-9 days, there was some growth, to my surprise it wasn't grass!! Now I have mixed weed in my lawn. Very disappointed, will never buy again!
