Fails to cut tall grass and often gets jammed.

Setup is quick and doesn't require any tools.

As I was putting this thing together (very simple, 6 turn bolts and no tools required) I was thinking the handle seemed a bit flimsy. But then after pushing it around the lawn a few minutes later, I realized it is a well thought out design. I really like the handle, which is what attracted me to this mower vs. other push mowers. Very ergonomic. My grass/weeds were meduim height, and this guy was just about as easy to use as a gas mower. 2 things. First, I have a smallish lawn, so it's not like I'm mowing Rigley Field. Second, it did sieze up a couple of times in a section of weeds, as they would wrap up alonside the wheels. But I just backed up and shook the mower a little and was good to go. For what I need, this guy is perfect, and I'm glad I didn't spring for a gas mower.

I was never taught how to use a lawnmower and this seemed easy to use so I picked it. It was too easy to put together took about 1 minute, and it's sooooo easy to use. The best part? It works great! I love it, it's environmental friendly and silent so I can mow any time I want without my neighbors complaining.

Love it

Definitely a learning curve, and very difficult to use the first time if you've let the grass and weeds grow high. Once you get the lawn cut that first time, though, it's incredibly easy and effective to use. I wouldn't trade it for a power mower now. Super easy to assemble, quiet, and environmentally friendly.

Better than my gas mower!

Easy assembly. This is perfect for small yards. Saves the environment without the need for gas or oil. Set the wheels for the height you need and push. I used this type mower as a child and it is safer, quick and easy. I have had people want to use it just to see how it works. Use it often and it keeps your grass looking great with less effort. No tune-ups and no need to worry if you can cut the grass...always ready to use...good choice for teens and elderly too.

Go Green

I have a small yard and didn't want to invest in a huge mower. My 8 year old managed to put it together when it arrived. It light and gets the job done.
I used it a couple of times already, the grass was high when I got it so I had a little struggle but passed it twice and it works great. Better on dry grass of course.

Great mower!

I really like my Lawn Master Lawn Mower. Easy as can be to put together, and really easy to use. Feels good to get out there and mow my little yard with my new mower. You do need to pick up sticks before you mow, as they do get caught in the blade's. But over all, it's a nice little mower. Glad I got it.. :)

Lawn Master 18" Reel Lawn Mower

While waiting on my long arrival to the store, my grass that I have in the front and back got rather high. Once I received my mower, I put it together in about 10 mins, if that. I did the backyard first. If the grass is high or thick, you need to adjust the height to the highest setting. Once you go over the high grass, you can then reset the wheels to a lower setting and get your grass to where you want it to maintain. I receievd a lot of attention from neighbors about the lawnmower. Some asked if it was hard to push, it is no harder to push than when I push my 11 month old son in his stroller. I was asked if it works as well as gas mowers, I think it works better. I don't have to worry about running over my feet, as it won't move unless I push it, and I don't smell like stinky exhaust when I'm done. You will get a heck of a workout using this as you are the driving force to it moving, but in the end you don't have to worry about running out of gasoline and it's safe enought to teach your ten year old how to mow!

Not recommended for football field sized yards.

It cuts low grass well. However you can make multiple passes of the same patches and still cut nothing. Yes you get exercise and save money from buying gas or parts to a lawn mower but after spending hours cutting the grass only to see all the very tall blades it missed, was quite disappointing.

It works, but.....

This product is a bit flimsy, but it does the job. It's fine for a small, flat, well-groomed lawn (1/4 acre or less). My lawn (1/2 acre) is none of the above.

It's a good workout. It basically works on momentum, and it is very light, so I found myself shoving it with my arms frequently to push through thicker grass or small twigs. If it was heavier, I think it would actually be easier to use.

Make sure to adjust the cutting bar using an allen wrench; it came from the factory much too tight. The blades should ALMOST touch the cutting bar.

Also, don't try to cut too low; unless you're mowing a golf green, keep it on the higher settings, and it is much easier to use.

Ok for the price

I loved the idea of this machine, but ended up returning it. Like another reviewer stated, it has a very specific height range that it will cut. My lawn is not all grass. it has dandelions and other weeds mixed in. When something is over a certain height, like when the dandelions have those tall puffballs, it somehow doesn't make it into the blades, no matter how many times I went over it, it wouldn't cut it, and I'd have to bend down and hand pull weeds, etc., even tall blades of grass. Frustrating!!
