This is my second time buying this. Once for my children and again as a gift for my nieces. A great starter learning video game for kids and is super simple to set up. You just plug the stick into the hdmi port on the tv.

Early Learning Technology fun for kids

I gave an overall rating of 4 stars due to the fact I would've imagined this toy a bit easier for my almost 4 year old to use. He is very smart and tends to be advanced with technology but still struggled to navigate. Despite this, we had a blast doing it together and the games were very age appropriate! Lots of learning for a good cost.

Review age before purchase!

I have a 4yo mildly autistic kid that I thought would love this. It's very basic though. Kind of boring for him. And too much talking between “levels”. He loses interest fast! Maybe if someone was looking for a “video game” for a 2 or 3yo this could be cool. Or someone with a mindset of a small child. This is NOT a typical video game that you'd have to worry about small kids being addicted.

Very basic- buy it for preK kids.

My 4 year old daughter likes it and its easy for her to play but I do wish that there was more to the game. it does get boring fast

Bought as an attempt for my daughter, who is 5 y/o. I had thought the game would progress in difficulty and/or learning as it went through. However, it only covers the ‘letters' of the alphabet and does not continue into spelling, or anything really beyond that. 
I was not impressed and neither was my daughter, but this could be a good game for children who are just beginning to learn the alphabet. For those that are quick to want to learn and progress though,not very entertaining.

Not that thrilled

We really wanted to like this one, but it just... underwhelmed. Maybe for a younger child, but our five year old was bored quick. And he likes video games. just not much going on. I would pass on this one. (He loves his leapstart and the books! )

We were really excited to try LeapLand Adventures, but unfortunately, we had to return it. The product itself just didn't match the expectations set by the description—mainly from LeapFrog, not Walmart.
The concept sounded great for a younger child—educational and easy to use—but in reality, it was much more limited and less interactive than advertised. It felt more like a basic plug-and-play game with very minimal educational value, and my toddler lost interest quickly. I want to be clear that Walmart wasn't at fault here—their listing matched the manufacturer's details. But LeapFrog's own description was a bit misleading and made the product sound more advanced than it actually is.

Disappointing overall, especially from a trusted brand like LeapFrog

Terrible product. Probably the most boring thing I've ever seen.  My kid could not do it for more than 20 seconds without wanting it to be over.  Soooo boring they make you wait 
Forever for the shapes etc to tell a whole story. Not worth the money !!
