100% recommend this! We have both this and the NEX, both are good in their own regards, but this one is way way better for our 4 year old right now. The games are cuter, longer, and she can play herself vs many of the NEX has to have us tired adults play.
although the camera on this is a little flaky at times picking up her little hands, the games are very forgiving and always end in a smile.

I appreciate its educational and playful side, as well as the fact that it incorporates movement. At first, handling by hand requires a little skill, but with a little training, it is quite possible, even for a child.

Great product to learn while having fun

i love it for my grandkids. It gets them ready for when they start school.  its fun and enjoyable for them. it's a game to them, but a los important learning for  them.

The technology is outdated. It is hard to get your body to line up with the game. I have a 7 and 2 year old and both had so much trouble that it is now collecting dust.

This was a disappointing purchase. It didn't work good for us. If it worked like it says we would have loved it. they spent more time trying to get connected to it than playing. Played with it twice and haven't touched it since. I was really hoping this would be as fun as they advertise but it's just a waste of money imo. Spend ur money on something else or Atleast keep the receipt so u can return it if u have the same issue.

Disappointing purchase

This is the biggest waste of money in terms of a toddler toy I can think of and the worst Christmas present I could have gotten for my child. There is a PSA posted on daddit (Reddit) that perfectly describes how this piece of trash functions and I think that anyone looking at buying this should really read it. It's glitchy, adults can't help, children get frustrated, it does what it wants and the delay is unbelievable. No amount of perfect lighting, being in the correct spot or following their continuously repeated instructions can help. Leapfrog should not be selling this product for as much as they do unless they do some serious fixes. All I can say is it's a relatively expensive way to frustrate not only your child but yourself and the only “education” anyone will receive from this is patience, how to handle frustrating situations and better money management.

Do not buy! It's trash!

Getting the system running wasn't really an issue but the camera could not follow my kids hand. It's single player so multiple kids trying to play doesn't work because the camera can't keep up with which person is playing. The camera could hardly follow adults trying to play. It was a real frustration to the point I didn't feel it was worth getting to try more than one game. It's not worth a single cent I paid. Don't buy it.

Do not recommend at all

Only one kid can use it at a time and if anyone comes into frame it just goes crazy. My 4 and 5 year old had a difficult time getting the thing to recognise their hands and move with them. Very poor quality. Also there are only a few games per grade level so my kids only understood how to do a few of the games because all they other required more math and English than they knew
