He loves singing along to the different songs that he knows and the voices it can make. I love the fact that we can bluetooth to the machine to play his favorites. It also has space for a headphone jack which is cool so he can listen and sing by hilswlf. The volume doesn't get very loud. I kind of wish it got louder so we could sing together more, but probably good it doesn't for a kids toy.

There's so many ways to play with it - they can use it to sing over classic kids songs, record their own voices, and even play and sing to their favorite songs connecting it via Bluetooth. We had a little bit of a hard time to connect it to Bluetooth the first time- the good news is that you only have to pair it once and then it recognizes the device next time you put it in Bluetooth mode.  The microfone is connected to the machine and cannot be removed - maybe a small con since the cord is a bit too small. There are a few voice effects kids loved to use - like dinosaur, robot or mouse voice. They would use just to talk over in funny voices - no singing or songs required. I loved my voice recording machine as a kid and I like that my kids can get to experience a bit of that, in a more modern and cool toy that can grow with them. Size is also good enough to take with them.

I would say I'm surprised with the amazing quality of this toy, but I'm actually not. We STAN LeapFrog in Our Household

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I got the LeapFrog Let's Record! Learning Karaoke.I knew right away that my little one would be thrilled. She will turn 4 soon, and this is—the perfect age for this kind of fun! 
We've had it for a while, and it has absolutely become one of her favorite toys.
This toy is a constant source of fun. The main draw for her is the microphone and recording feature—she loves hearing her own voice played back! The Bluetooth connectivity is a huge plus for me. I can stream her favorite Disney songs or even just instrumental music from my phone, making it a truly personalized karaoke machine. The bright, flashing lights also add a great "stage" feel, making her little performances even more exciting. She's always dancing and singing along, which keeps her happily busy.
​I have to say, this toy is built tough! My little one can be a bit clumsy sometimes, and it has survived a few drops and bumps without a scratch. The plastic feels sturdy, and it's very easy for her to carry around the house thanks to the handle. This portability is great because she can take her music with her from the living room for a dance party to her bedroom for quiet time.
As a parent, the learning part is important to me, and this toy delivers. The ten included learning songs cover letters, counting, animals, and the weather. She had me turn on frozen right away connect it via Bluetooth so that she can sing with her new little toy. Her only complaint was at the mic string that was connected to the speaker was much too short and I will have to agree with her on that. I feel that it should be a little bit longer or possibly separated altogether.

It does take batteries and can get a little loud at times, which is the only downside for me. But overall, it's a really fun toy that lets kids be creative and have their own little concert at home!
