[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't rate quality since it hasn't been opened yet...  Price higher than last year (what isn't). in answering this.  Website filtering seems wonky - i would select 'older ages' and get stuff for toddlers / younger kids.

Not suitable for 5 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year daughter has used this telescope briefly.  I would use the term telescope loosely as it does not work well for viewing the sky at night in an urban setting.  The range is limited and seeing on a screen doesn't help.  The biggest value this telescope brings is the digital screen which has different learning programs and games on it.  However, the screen is not very large, and I feel that most of what it does could be found on a larger tablet.  Overall, the telescope does a number of things, ie take pictures, see at a distance, play games, visually learn, but it doesn't do any of them overly well.  It'd be an item to get a young child interested in space and telescopes, but in our house hasnt had long useage.

It's entirely to pixelated to see anything day or night. The games ect.. would be fun however it's not appropriately aged on the box. A 6 year old would need quite a bit of help. All it has going for it is the cards it comes with otherwise it was a disappointment .

Got this for my son's birthday got it home assembled the telescope went to try all the options and the only button that works is the checkmark button.
