[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time I have purchased this toy! Yes, uts THAT good! (for two different children). Little ones gain a little independence with Buddy reading stories to them, and they can follow along in the small books that come with him! He is also sweet and cuddly. Great alternative to screen time, with additional functions like nightime mode with lullabyes... your little one will adore their newfound friend, and so will you!

Great for Little learners!

I bought this for a 2 yr old grandson.  He loved it immediately.  He is still too young to fully grasp what all the buttons do and the books are nice but I wonder if they will hold up for a young child.  He will use it as he wishes, but it is a much better toy for a 3  child who can better grasp all of the wonderful features.

My lil guy is 2 and I always find him surrounded with books when he's playing and I just LOVE that! SO I found this cute pup that comes with books and it will sit with him and his book! I'm not sure all that it does yet bc it's a Christmas present but I'm really excited to see how he is with his new pup and his lil books!

Great gift

Bought Buddy early for a Christmas gift. I did not take it out of the box, but he is adorable. Pressed his paw and heard his cute voice and saw all the things he does on the box. I know my Grandaughter is going to love him

Buddy is sure to be a hit

Storytime Buddy is adorable! My two year old absolutely loves following along with Buddy to the five books that come with him! Her favorite is with Bella the pink poodle! Each story is fun and teaches a good lesson. Bedtime mode is amazing and Buddy will quietly read a story and sing a lullaby that often puts her to sleep. Buddy is soft and cozy and goes with her everywhere. I love that he is teaching her the alphabet and numbers too! Such a fun toy and great gift! The product has been provided by VTech/LeapFrog free of charge so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.

Reading and Lullabies

I thought it was going to tell full bedtime stories that could be used when she goes to sleep a story for less than 5 minutes long couldn't keep her attention

I bought this to read to my daughter. she likes to push alot of buttons and sometimes the same button multiple times. within a month or 2 she has completely broken this toy and there is no way to fix it. he has sat for days and every time u turn it on now he's stuck in the frozen mode making this weird kind of screeching noise. if ur kids like to smash buttons I don't suggest this.

This is the third leapfrog buddy puppy my son received. All were gifts given to him at 3 separate times and all 3 crapped out on him in a very short time, as in just a few months after receiving. It stopped playing songs and telling stories and is no longer used for anything other than a regular stuffed animal. While it was working he loved it and now he is very disappointed it's not working yet again. Very, very disappointing. I do not recommend this at all.
