[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boy absolutely loves this toy! The LeapFrog Touch & Learn eReader has become one of his favorites because it feels like a “big kid tablet,” but it's made just for learning and play.

He enjoys pressing the colorful buttons and watching the little screen light up with fun characters.
The stories and songs keep him entertained for a long time. He especially likes the quizzes—it makes him laugh and feel proud when he 
gets answers right.
The alphabet and word games are helping him practice letters without it feeling like schoolwork.
The design is strong and safe, so I don't worry when he plays rough with it.

A wonderful learning toy that makes my boy happy while teaching him early reading skills. Definitely worth it for toddlers and preschoolers.

Runs on 3 AA batteries. With regular daily play, they usually last several days to about a week. Luckily, it has an auto shut-off after about 45 seconds of no use to save power. Rechargeable AAs work well if your child plays a lot.

My daughter is loving it, and learning her letters using this e reader! She loves listening to the stories on here and trying to follow along! It has a volume button and all the letter keys, just very easy and straight forward. This would be great for little ones trying to learn to read and write and useful for trips!

Great for early learning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely a fun little toy!  Has lots to work on educationally and my boy is a little young for its use but was still able to engage.  Good for motor skills with him pressing buttons and mirroring how we use phones and tablets!  Mining the works and sounds with him was great and had him talking!  It's definitely something you'd want to do with your child but is a good tool to help with development and I could see that improving as he gets older and more independent to practice language skills.
