[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mom helped four year old put together the first time. Hope granddaughter will enjoy rearranging and playing with this.

My 3 year old daughter got this from her Grandmother for Christmas. She has a little trouble with some of the pieces because of the newness of the plastic and her impatience, but she can easily maneuver most of it and really enjoyed making things with her Dad. But when her 5 year old brother started playing with her, that's when things went from fun to awesome for her and us. He managed to used gears and shapes to make cars, roads a garden and just generally kicked their play up to a new level for her. They both enjoyed it so much that I couldn't possibly have asked for a better gift for myself for Christmas. Watching them play and learn from each other was priceless! I'm currently looking for another set as a gift for someone else. Well worth the money in my opinion!

I purchased the gears Bloom building set for a preschool room at a child care center. The children really enjoy it.

Great buy

Build &bloom is a creative gear experience. Both my daughters loved the colours and design of this product. It is very well made, will be able to withstand any child playing with it. There are endless possibilities of what you can create. The interlocking gears really got my kids excited and they kept wanting to explore different designs. My 6 year old even said she prefers this over lego. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who has a son or daughter between the ages 4-10. Another amazing product by learning resources.

I am a Preschool Teacher and purchased this set for my 3 and 4 year olds to play with this spring and they have LOVED IT! Best purchase I have made for my classroom in a long time. My students have been so creative building with this set and have loved the big colorful flowers and bugs! Awesome Toy

Great Fun

The Build & Bloom Building Set contains 116 pieces from various colored gears to flowers, stems, butterflies, bees and more. There are base pieces that the gears snap onto and the flower stems then you can move the gears around to watch them all move. My boys had something similar to this when they were younger and loved it, its funny how such a simple toy can encourage so much fun. When my daughter first opened it, she said for an hour and played with it. That was a huge chunk of time for her to play with a toy. Since then this set has become a daily fixture in our family room. After putting it away a few times and my daughter asking for it again I decided to just leave it out! Even my 6 year old son started playing with it and building with it. The set really does have a lot of pieces that a few kids could play with it at one and have plenty to do. I love when toys have enough pieces for kids to share otherwise there tends to be fighting with kids with want this piece or that piece. The gears are all super bright and colorful too, it is nearly impossible for a kid to not want to play with them! I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Very Fun and Engaging!

Your child can plant their own spring flower garden with the 116 pieces: gears, flowers, butterflies, bees, ladybugs, wiggly stems and more. The parts are all interchangeable so it's really up to their imagination on what their final garden will look like. The pieces easily snap together so even though the recommended age is 4+, Mason is able to play alongside Kenzie. When the garden is assembled, turn the gears and the smiles and giggles come out.

A great Building Set

I bought this set for my 4 year old granddaughter and she loves it. You can but the gears together in various combinations and the gears turn the whole creation. They can be stacked or spread out on a table to create . This is a good creativity set. My 5 year old grandson also enjoys making things with them.

GEARS! GEARS! Enjoy!

I bought this for my 5 year old grand daughter. She just LOVES puzzles and she is very good at it. I thought this would be another type of puzzle for her. She started putting the pieces together right away, but there are pieces (gears) that look totally different from the rest and NOWHERE does it tell you what these are for. There are only pictures and it is very difficult to see what they are doing. My husband and I sat there trying to help, but we never did figure out what those other gears are for. I think it was overpriced for what you get.
