My little boy loves playing this game. He is 4yrs old. We play this nearly everyday after school. It is wonderful for improving his understanding of addition and subtraction, plus understanding odd and even numbers. It is also aiding him from jumping from using his fingers to count on to mental arithmetic. It's fun too! He doesn't realise he is learning as he plays the game as its lots of fun. Have recommended it to lots of friends.

Excellent way to teach basic math

My daughter loves this game. She has struggled so much with even the simplest of math problems and tended to overthink them. She doesn't even give it any thought now and rattles off the answers to whatever problem in rolled. Very cute game.

Nearly 5 year old loves playing this game with anyone who will play it with her - fantastic for maths learning /development as well as for learning about game playing (ie sometimes losing!) cannot recommend this product enough would get this again!

Fantastic game on several levels

My five year old just finished Kindergarten and needed a math refresher for the summer.  Omg,  this game has her adding and subtracting like crazy.  Plus, its SUPER fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only is this game so much fun, but it is educational. Perfect for Kindergarden through at least 3rd grade.I am an educator and a Grandma of a 4 and 5 yr. old boys. they love the board that looks like a swamp (very colorful) and the cute monsters and creatures that are fun, but not scary.
The dice are always fun to shake and roll, and have just + or - on the one dice and Numbers on the other two dice. The 4 yr. old is learning because the five yr old helps...just like a teacher.
They are so proud when they get the right answer and get to move the critter game piece.
Upto 4 can play and their choice of critters are so cute! It is not an overly long game, so no frustration from not being able to win for too long of a period. The game is well boxed with colorful pictures and strong cardboard so the box will last. This game is so impressive because it teaches
in a way that the children think they are just playing. Holds their attention! It is one of the most innovative learning games I have seen in a long while. I feel it is a wonderful purchase for a gift
or just to buy to help the, learn. Their teachers will be so happy and impressed with their increased
interest in Math and their accelerated learning.

Sum Swamp Board Game

There is an error in the printing/design of the original print of the new version. The 3 and 5 in the endless loop are in the wrong positions vs the old game and being able to land on the exit easier. As it is now with the error it makes the game frustrating and takes forever to get out of the loop now. I've had to change the rules of the game to accommodate this and it really bugs me. I have started seeing ppl recently in the game group I'm in with the new version with the error corrected. I'd like to get a new board that doesn't have the error.
