[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ledger Nano S Plus in Matte Black is amazing! I purchased an older model years ago, and this upgraded version is much easier to use and made of higher quality materials. I will be using this new one moving forward to store my crypto.

The only real difference between this model and the more expensive nano x model is the Bluetooth capability.  This is highly recommended for safe storage!!

It's the kind of robust security that fellow techies like myself can truly appreciate, knowing that our digital wealth is safeguarded with military-grade encryption.

Setting up the device was fairly straight forward, thanks to the intuitive user interface. Even though I enjoy diving into the technical intricacies of blockchain technology, I appreciate a device that doesn't overcomplicate the setup process. Ledger has struck the perfect balance between security and user-friendliness. The only down side is the “speed” of the device, which seemed slow. 

The support for a wide range of cryptocurrencies is a big plus. The device supports over 5,500 currencies. As a techie, I often dabble in various digital assets, and the Nano S plus' versatility in this regard is invaluable. It's like having a Swiss Army knife for managing your crypto portfolio.

One feature that really stands out is the ability to generate a recovery seed. In the tech world, we know the importance of backups, and having a secure, offline way to recover your wallet is a smart move. The inclusion of three recovery sheets ensures you won't ever be locked out of your crypto, even if the device is lost or damaged.

Lastly, kudos to Ledger for the regular firmware updates. It had a firmware update after plugging it in for the first time. It's a testament to their commitment to staying ahead of the curve when it comes to security and ensuring compatibility with new cryptocurrencies.

I recommend it, but I do wish the display were better, the interface was more app-dependent, and there were better guides within the app for importing your crypto.

I'd connect it to my phone, it would act like it's installing, but even after accepting the install on the Ledger it kept failing. not sure what i'm doing wrong.

Sleek and modern

Does NOT ship from Walmart. I purchased this because it stated it shipped from Walmart and Walmart is an authorized dealer of the Ledger wallets. What I received came from a third party seller that isn't listed as an authorized seller so how can I trust this wallet? With so many shady people and fraud out there, stories of tokens stolen due to scams and malicious code, why on earth would anyone trust this? Yes there is a way to verify it is a legit wallet via the Ledger website as well as reset a wallet, but I ordered a new wallet shipped from Walmart, not a suspicious seller that requires me to take extra steps and will still not have peace of mind.  I'll be returning this.
