I ordered early for Christmas.  My son saw and requested this Lego a few months ago.  It is very cute with all the main Sesame Street Characters.  My order arrived promptly and in good condition.

When the first time I saw the release, of this set. Tons of wonderful memories came flooding back. I did have issues with the instructions not being easy to follow. I took my time building this set. Each moment was happy memories made. I think the correct colors used the the bricks would have been helpful too. I was missing pieces but reach out to customer service. They correct this issue. The attention to detail to me is fantastic. This was my first purchase as adult. I knew I had to have. Many more will come. Thank for creating Sesame Street set.

I have never owned a Lego set in the past because my family didn't have the  funds when I was younger. I remember playing with a friends castle set and always wanted to have one. 
When the pandemic started I wasn't doing very well mentally and I was looking for a hobby to keep myself busy and saw this set on ads. I was skeptical at first, because I had the impression that Lego is just for the kids. But the beauty of this set  took me back to my childhood and immediately captured my attention. I wanted to give a try, because I am middle aged man who can afford it now.

I started and finished this set in couple of days. I had to force myself to take it slow, because I didn't want it to finish. The whole experience was so therapeutic and helped me a lot to go through hard times. Now I regularly buy Lego sets, trying out other adult themes and started my own collection. I can't wait for the next upcoming set, because I know it will be some another creative and unique set. I couldn't be grateful enough Lego.

Back to childhood

Everything about this induces joy! The quality and details are astounding and the set is purely amazing. Sadly, the only defect is that Grover is missing. For those of us who grew up with the original Sesame Street, to not have a Grover character is a disappointment. I realize Elmo is the face of Sesame Street for many years now, but I imagine this set is purchased more by those for whom Sesame Street is nostalgic—so Grover should have been included. LEGO should create a Grover character that can be purchased to go along with the set. Aside from the missing Grover, this set is absolutely beautiful and the cutest thing I've seen for years.

Perfect—except for the missing Grover

This is such a great product. I was a little unsure whether to purchase this set for my little boy aged 7 years as it was down as 18+, however he loved it and built the majority by himself, it took him about a day and a half. He loves playing with it. Therefore, I would definitely recommend this product for a child aged 7 years or over and for adults too! I have attached some photos that lego may wish to use.

Great product and well design!

I really wanted this set because it's so adorable.  I've started building because I'm trying to help a mind that's starting to slip. I purchased it from Walmart and enjoyed the project until I got to the last few things..first the mailbox would not stand on whatever those pegs were.  I prefer my items to stay put..for alot of reasons but especially if I need to move it. I used some left over parts to have it secured exactly where it was supposed to be.  Secondly the satellite dish (I guess that's what it's supposed to be), I finagled a device to put it on the roof at an angle from, again, left over pieces..at least now it won't move..oh and Ernie does not bend so I don't know how they got that picture in the tub, other than that, I love the finished product.

Okay except for some problems.

I am a huge Jim Henson and Sesame Street fan. Thank you to the Lego ideas designer for submitting this fantastic set. 

However, I did not appreciate the asymmetrical front of the iconic brownstone and the open side design of Hooper's store - so for the first time in my 35 years of building LEGO I redesigned the set. I adjusted so the 3 windows were in the front and the open side of Cookie's apartment was not showing. Elmo's room needed a wall to provide privacy so I added that. These changes allows for better display and if putting it in your modular city it just works better. 

Overall - the easter eggs, the minifigs, and the overall play features are great! Brings back such fond memories of childhood. Thank you LEGO!

How to get to...a better design...street

A great set that is a surprising fun build, even for adults.

The mini figs are fantastic, but LEGO missed a trick by not making this a proper modular and also not including more sesame street mini figs.

So I bought 2 of these, plus about 100 extra bricks and built a Modular MOC of this myself

Great set for play, but not for display

Was excited to purchase this Lego after realizing it would be retiring soon. But the box arrived open. Nothing was lost however. Not sure why they would send someone a returned item.

Returned box. Do better

Beware.  The set we received is not an authentic Lego set.  The box looks like a Lego box, but there is no mention of Lego on the box and the blocks do not say Lego.
