I bought this train station plus I needed to find extra track for a train set they already had.  Wish it was a bit easier to find track etc that are compatible with products!

Developing a train set

LEGO

This little station has a cafe and ticket counter the grandchildren can use to buy pastries and drinks or round-trip tickets! It's a great addition that permits people to get on/off trains, switch modes of transportation (bus to train, car to train, bike to train, etc and vice versa). Highly recommend.

Great addition to our train sets

This set took around an hour to make, which is double the time it takes to build a similarly priced set for me, so this set will not take five minutes to build. The Minifigures are diverse and have a lot of character to them, which I like. The bus is bigger than I expected, as well as the train station. This set is worth every penny. I would strongly recommend this set to anyone.

Awesome set, worth the money

I bought it for myself but did it with my 9 year old daughter. We had a good 3 hours of fun. Father/daughter bonding with something we both love. Can only recommend it.

Love Lego

I like this set. Its pretty accurate to what its depicting. Its look like any of the GO stations you'd in see in Ontario Canada. The set is pretty big too, I think its bigger than the lego ideas botanical garden. The build experience is pretty good too. the manual clarifies everything. 10/10 another banger from the Lego Group.

[Employee of lego-global] Just another wonderful and unique train station platform design. My two boys helped to build this, six year old did the bus and my 13 year old did the work truck with Porta potty trailer. They had a few errors but was from them not watching when the set was supposed to be turned for some elements, other than that it was easy but unique enough to keep them interested. The station platform was easy to do, definitely some new unique ways to construct walls and ceilings. The train crossing was a plus, do hope that LEGO will start selling those directly as a pick a brick instead of being robbed by those who sell elements online, if you know...well you know where I'm talking about. I hope they come up with another engine house, or enough people can bring back 10027.

another outstanding building

I built this as my son is only 4,

He loves trains and we wanted a proper station. This is perfect. It looks great and you get a ton of things to do. I haven't added it to the train set yet and he has spent hours already just playing as a dedicated set. The train crossing is his favourite part the included bus crosses the track over and over as the work truck passes buy:-) he loves it. I love the details on the work truck.

Great set great value great looks

This set should mainly be considered as an accessory to the other Lego train and city sets. This is where it will really shine, as the tracks and road tiles can connect to their larger ecosystem.

On its own, its a decent set with a straightforward build. My main gripes come down to the robustness of the vehicles and of the set in general.

For example:
(1) The bus and maintenance truck both easily shatter if they are dropped from a small height or played with a bit roughly. I find myself perpetually rebuilding them after my young children play with them.
(2) The train crossing arms on the road plates are not very securely planted - they will repeatedly break off.
(3) The designers could have found a more robust way for the "feet" of the station to grip onto the tracks.

Other than these issues, it is a decent set. A bit too colourful for my liking, but that's a personal preference. And some guard rails or other details on the platform would have also been nice.

A decent set but lacking robustness

I got this set to go with the cargo trainset my wife purchased for me earlier this year.  The bus is a great design as well as the truck and cart with port-a-potty. Overall ,fun set to build with my son. Price is a bit much for what you get , but didn't deter me . Do wish lego would go back to the diesel ( GE or EMD ) style locomotives
