As an Adidas fan, this was definitely an instant purchase. You get one shoe which is kind of disappointing but it looks like the real version and was interesting to have. It didn't take too long to put together but it would have been neat to have both shoes or at least a discount for buying a second one at the same time.

This is an amazing set! The reason I put my build experience at a 3 is because my set was missing 4 pieces. Trust me, I looked everywhere around my room. I fortunatly had the pieces in the correct colors in my color organized LEGO bins. It wasn't too big a hassle. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the set. The display stand is very nice. It was a nice touch to add a real shoelace! Lots of fun! Thanks for another great product!

Great Set

Simply put it's amazing. Superb packaging which adds to the authenticity of the product. Looks fantastic on display and had to get another one to make a pair. It's relatively easy to build and in my opinion sold at a reasonable price. The laces finish the build off nicely. Many thanks Lego and Adidas.

Super superstar

I really hope Lego keeps this collection going with other brands like Nike! This was such a fun, different build. The sneaker looks awesome. You can choose to do the left or right shoe.  I did the right one. No stickers either except for the name plate on the stand. Great job lego!! Please please do more sneakers especially Nike I'll buy them all!!!

Awesome Awesome Awesome

Me and the girl each built a shoe. To my surprise and contrary to other reviews, each set has enough pieces to independently build either shoe. Meaning you can buy only one kit and build either shoe if you want. From my experience there was a lot of confusion regarding this. Each kit comes with an extra (7th) bag of parts to cover the left side variants. I wish this was made more clear. Overall, it was a really fun build. As every one says, the shoe laces are a really nice touch. Also, the stand is surprisingly secure, given how heavy the shoe is. 9/10 would totally recommend but I am a huge Adidas/Lego fan so this may be a little bias. ;)

Really enjoyed this set and, as always, loved the history and contextual info provided in the book. Was fun learning about the history before building.

Really enjoyable build! The construction in the build was beyond expectation. HOWEVER… the shoe does not fit back in the box without taking the tongue off!!! So for me that was a really bad feature. Maybe make the tongue more flexible in terms of lowering into the shoe to enable the box to shut!

I waited a bit after release to get this set because I was unsure of its value.   I eventually purchased it and built it right away.  During the build process I began to realize there were many features of this set which I believe make this a great addition a collection or as a stand alone kit.

The box and packaging are great.  The box looks like the Adidas box the real shoes come in but made of stronger cardboard.   The pieces are even wrapped in tissue paper just like real shoes.

There are some clever building techniques when building the sides of the "leather upper" parts of the shoe.  

The real shoe lace bit was a nice touch.

This is a sturdy set which looks great on display.  

I recommend it and keep the box.

The classic and the best

I thought it was very neat and fun. It was a nice build but the bad thing was I couldn't customize. It but it is very special I liked the shape of the build. And like me if you like shoes or adidas clothing you will like this

Very nice

First let me state that I am an Adidas junkie!!! The right shoe took me about 3 hrs to build ... im 43 and my son is 22 so you can guess how long it's been since I touched a Lego... the left shoe was a pain... there weren't enough piece in the kit to convert the right shoe to a left... if I didn't purchase 2 I wouldn't have been able to complete it...I had to use the extra piece from the right shoe to finish it ... they came about great though...I hated the show laces so I swapped them for a pair of mine...they look amazing with my Stormtroopers (I did the decals on the Stormtroopers)
