Great looking gift

This set looks very good on display, I know some people complain about the trees' instability but that's actually correct to life (Muir Woods, where this scene was filmed, has mainly redwood trees which are very fragile-I've been there many times) and also about the speeders' steep angle, but look at the movie, they're going pretty fast and weaving at angles like this. Also as for the photos, some people say it's not the same, but it is if you look at it with your eyes level to the base. That's how the photo was taken, clearly. I know that there are a lot of Lego Star Wars sets that are underwhelming or plain bad, but this is, in my opinion, one of the good ones. Keep doing dioramas and stuff like this, Lego, and you'll keep your fans. But please stop downsizing literally everything. Thanks!

Very Nice Diorama

Annoying to build the little plants, but looks incredible when finished. Wished there was a somewhere in the build to store the weapons.

Cute display

I feel as though the set is so close to being a winner, the speeders and well designed and constructed with more detail than previous speeder designs.  i found the angle of the speeders to be adjustable depending on which slot on the bottom of the speeder you attached the clear rod to giving plenty of customizability to how the speeders are angled. The trees are actually fun to put together with how the roots interface with the ground. That being said, I cant help but feel like the build needs something more. Perhaps more foliage on the top of the trees or some background plates. Either way, It feels a little empty and needs a tweak to give it something more.

falls a little short

So I was always going to get this to go with my other dioramas. 
It was by far the fastest build. Not necessarily a bad thing.
However the speeder bikes sit at a very steep angle which it doesn't look like in the pictures. 
I like the minifigures that are included and the speeder bikes are excellent.
Overall decent purchase if your a star wars fan. Otherwise maybe avoid.

The least interesting of diorama series

I pre-ordered this set to hit a gwp threshold earlier in the year knowing that I'd probably want to pick it up eventually. While it exceeded my expectations, it doesn't feel like the asking price is justified. The build itself is just sort of, meh. It's definitely lacking in substance. My biggest gripe has to be the Luke and Leia minifigs. Compared to the minifigs we've gotten in the other dioramas both this year and last, these feel like they got the least amount of love. Yeah those helmets are nice, but they both should have had dual molded legs here at the very least. Luke needs some black in his arms too. The saving grace here are the speeder builds though. Those are some of the best I'd ever seen. Wait for a sale on this one.

Better than I expected, but still falls short

This set promised to be better than it is! It's very basic with only two trees and three mini figures and not much pizazz! The speeders don't match the pictures on the box and no adjusting of the sticks make the angle less pronounced. You cannot see their faces and one speeder is hidden by the tree when on display - and if you move them closer (as shown as an option) - then they are overlapping and touching and still not displaying properly. I think Lego should offer capes for the figures, more foliage, background, and new taller sticks with a better angle for displaying the speeders. Overall, this set falls short from the other dioramas. It's also really pricey for what it is!

Overall Disappointing

This set I was so excited for, the picture on the box this set looks amazing! But after building it is not so cool. It does not display well at all.

False hopes

Fairly disappointed in this set, mainly because the speeder bikes sit precariously on a 45 degree angle, so you can't see any minifig faces like you can on the front of the box, where the bikes seem to be at about half the angle. The last page of the instructions make no sense either, showing you can move the clear sticks/stands closer? The bikes are already almost touching, so I'm not sure how they could get closer.

Product doesn't match photo

I wouldn't call myself an expert Lego builder, but I'm not bad, and building this drove me mad! The time spent tryint to get the speeders at the right angle, with leaves coming away as I did so, with parts of the speeders doing likewise, was just so irritating. It looks good now, but I daren't touch it, just in case! A pity. The Trash Compactor was so much fun to do!
