nice but  a little smaller than expected. planter is wider in the middle and smaller at the ends making planter smaller than expected.

So attractive on my patio.  I am so glad I ordered these.

I am sorry to say these were not at all what I expected.  They probably were made with love - definitely packed with great love and lots of padding.  But they are very rustic and rough.  Very "handmade".  Which would be perfect if that's what you want.  Unfortunately, I assumed they were waterproof, being half-oak casks.  My mistake  -  and they are NOT waterproof.  Nor could I make them so using a product that is advertized as being a water sealant.  So I am extremely disappointed.  I would send them back except I did try to waterproof the large one.  I can't think of any use for the except maybe holding a small amount of firewood or a small dog's bed?  I certainly would NOT put linens or blankets in one and frankly, I don't believe they belong IN the house.
I would give them a 1 rating because I am that disappointed.  But I don't remember anything on the sales page that said they were waterproof.  However, I can not give them a 5 rating because I could see someone getting a splinter easily.  So, they would probably do ok as a planter in the yard - but you'd have to water often.

NO drilled holes to attach legs, plus no screws.

Not a problem to assemble, but there were several cracks and chipped places, really small.

Barrel planter set

I ordered this planters sets a few months ago, I was too busy so that I did not get a chance to open the box until lately. The quality was fine, but I was disappointed that the planters are in different sizes which is not in the item description; The product picture display is MISLEADING too, shows three planters in same size EVEN NOW. The seller added the specification in the description recently, but it caused loss to me because it passed 30 days return window. I am very unhappy with this purchase.

Misleading picture and descriptions

These are too shallow for most plants, bulbs and tubers. Most need at least 8" deep. Annuals are the only thing I could plant in these.
