Simple. No software required to read disks in Win 10. Good companion to my two recent Lenovo PCs, neither of which have an onboard DVD drive. After reading countless bad reviews of obscure-branded external DVD drives available on Amazon I finally went to Lenovo's site and found this model - but, of course, they didn't have any. One look at Walmart's site and found it immediately. Reasonable price too.

The package had a dvd to download the software to transfer the cd's I had to my computer and then I was able to transfer the music to my computer.  I transferred over 1000 songs to my computer without any issues.

Perfect way to save all my favorate music.

So far it works great. It didn't work in one of the ports, so I tried another one and it worked fine. So far, I'm pleased with it.

This drive helped me download all my 48G of music from my CD's to my laptop. I know everyone is into streaming their music but I am still old school and have cd's. Without this portable drive this would never have gotten into my computer and yes I still use DVD's for movies.

I love that "bloatware" is optional rather than already installed. The matte screen eliminates glare and that is a must for my eyes. I ordered an external DVD drive from Lenovo right away at a good price and it arrived quickly. I've been using the computer for about a month now and love the speed and functionality so far. I have had no trouble and no need for support. I am a very happy customer!

Wow!  So glad I ordered the DVD Burner DB65 for my Lenovo computer.  I needed the external player inorder to access many of my software that operate from a CD and to install some software.  The player worked perfectly and I look forward to years of service from it.

Very compact, well built, easy to use, and high quality.  Appears to be well worth the price in my initial experiences with it.  Would be better if they packaged it with software to play DVD's, but such software is widely available and free.  Very pleased.

Very light duty.  An adult working it on a desk would be fine.  Using it anywhere else you would break the door off the unit. Plastic and easy to break.  Software is poor at best.  It did work.
