During these commercially limited online shopping items, my normal bath soap was not available for shipping. I am a senior and at this time local transportation had been canceled. I needed bath soap and had no alternative but to buy what was being shipped, Lever 2000 was the most reasonably priced item that was available. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this bar soap. It rinsed off cleanly and really washed my entire body leaving behind a great smell! I guess I found a new bath soap after countless years with the Big Brand Soaps. Did I mention that the price is also a great incentive to try an amazing bar soap. Lever 2000 has exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds.

Be prepare to be surprised!

It’s our favorite bath soap. We used it for years. Our youngest son had eczema as a child and he could use the Lever 2000 soap without problem. Great for the whole family. I especially like it because it’s scent is pleasant and not over overpowering.

Family favorite for years

I us to use ivery sope in the 10 cout pakege found this sope %26 2 higher but get 2 bars more ivery pakeging very hard to remove this lever 2000 ezyer cardboard box smells very good manly was hoping would suds up good and it dose wich will alimnate over use and looks like will last longer the ivery 10 pk wasn't as heavy now see why ivery not true 4oz this sope is 4to 4.5 cleans good without leaving oily rezadu like my former rose vanus and lever 2000 dose have skin conditioners now lever 2000 dose have a 8 cout may smell different and pakeging little harder to open but not as bad as ivery wich i don't recommend i recommend this 12 cout pakege I'll by rest of my life good stuff cleans well without leaving oily resadu thy won't was off lever leaves you feeling fresh pores open feeling clean love this sope lever 2000 12 pk I'll buy rest of my life bout time Walmart start and keep carrying just wish was $4.98 like ivery 10 cout but this is OK deal for $6.98 yes I recommend love it

My new sope

I like Lever 2000 because of the company's claim that its formulation were for one's 2000 body parts. When I began itching from using other brands heavy on perfume, I switch to this brand and never have the trouble. I attribute its formulation to explaining why, although it still has had to mix with my local water quality. Here in Owensboro, water quality has been quite acceptable at either part of town since I have moved there over ten years ago.

Good soap!

I was recommended this soap from a dermatologist. My daughter suffers from extremely dry cracked hands in the winter. This soap is the only thing that helped her. It leaves her hands soft and causes no irritation. Perfect for dry winter months. I love the scent of this bar soap it's fresh and not overwhelming. It lathers well and leaves no residue behind. Great value product that leaves your hands feeling smooth.

Refreshing scent

I used lever for years with no problem. I loved the lather and the scent. My nose really agrees with it.  But  there was an added scent that didnt agree with my nose and I wondered where did it come from. I used one bar and its still in my soap dish. I purchased it 2 months ago.  I bought a double pack from my local store and the fragrance is just what I am use too

Such a disappointment

Lever used to be a reliable brand.  It had a mild clean fragrance, was not too drying, and lasted a good while.  So I bought this, but they had said it was upgraded, and I should have known from that not to buy it.  Upgrade now seems to be shorthand for 'we've found a way to make it even cheaper but we're calling it an upgrade so we can charge you more.'  Now Lever soap has no odor, and starts breaking up when it is only half used, if that. I I used to get months of use out of a bar of soap I get only two weeks of use out of a bar.of Lever soap. It turned into a soft bar I could squeeze together.  Save your money.

Lasts only a couple of weeks

I only purchase bar this because the first and primary ingredient is sodium tallowate. However the new packaging is still marketed as the same original product but the recipe is completely different. There is no tallowate at all and the soap is made purely of vegetable / seed oils which of course produce a softer bar that disintegrates much quicker. Very disappointed. I would never have purchased this if the listing didn't lie about the product.

They reformulated Lever 2000 and it's awful. The smell is terrible. It dissolves very fast--you'll maybe get three or four showers out of a single bar. But the worst thing about is that it lathers to form an incredibly slippery foam. The bottom of my tub was like an oil slick--it was very dangerous. I've been using Lever 2000 for two decades but no longer.

Awful reformulation

Unilever has changed the formula. The scent is now so pungent and chemical like. It is awful. I thought it was just this batch, so I bought some more. UGH!  just as bad!  And now I have to donate it somewhere to get it out of my house!!  If it aint broke, dont fix it.
