This has been really really useful. I can definitely tell the difference in air quality with it on and I like that I can tell what the air quality is like with the light. It's such a relief to not have as bad allergies as before. Definitely recommend this.

I live in Arizona where the monsoons cause us a lot of dust allergies, but thanks to this air putifier our allergies got better!  also its noise makes me sleep more relaxed and I like its night light as it does not bother like other lights!  I like its noise, at level 1 it is so quiet!  but at night we like to sleep at the highest level, we like its noise, it is of excellent quality, I like that it is touch mode, super practical, very easy to use, light, I like its elegant design and the color it has!  !  What I like the most is that it keeps it free of dust and odors!  super recommended!

I bought this unit around a month ago after suffering from indoor allergies that were refractory to OTC and prescription medication. After just two days of use, my allergies had nearly completely cleared up. By one month of ownership, my symptoms are completely gone. As a healthcare professional I doubted most air purifiers initially, but the effectiveness of this unit is definitely proven. Let me also highlight some of the other great features.  

Design (9/10): The tower unit is definitely large at around 3' in height. It takes in air from the bottom through the front and back of the unit into the filter, and sends it out the top. The display on the top indicates the air quality, timer, and also contains all the buttons to operate the unit. The only thing I would recommend is some handles to pick up/move the product if necessary, or wheels. 

Noise (10/10): The unit is completely inaudible at the lowest auto setting. It is barely audible at setting 1 and 2 as well. However, it is quite loud at the max speed. But really, what do you expect from a fan at full speed though. 

Performance (100/10): The rating is not a typo. Here is where this thing really shines. I have a 700 sqft apartment and while it is only rated for ~500 sqft, the unit exceeds expectations and is powerful to purify the air in the entire unit. With the fan on its highest setting, standing anywhere in the apt will allow you to feel a breeze from the suction/fan of the purifier, even in random crevices or in the bathroom. The performance is quite impressive as even my HVAC unit is not as strong as the motor in this thing. The filter is massive, catching almost all lingering dust to where when the sun shines in, there aren't little dust particles floating around. Definitely an incredible feat for a single air purifier in a big space. Cooking smells, dust, and smoke are gone within a matter of minutes.

Features (8/10): 3 fan speeds, auto mode, a timer, an option to turn off the display and an air quality indicator. It definitely fits the basics but I wish there was smartphone/smart home integration. Otherwise, it's got everything you need to plug it in and get started. 

Ease of use/cleaning (10/10): The tradeoff for no smartphone integration is that the unit is about as easy to use as possible. One button to turn it on, one button to control the fan speed and another to set it on auto mode. The auto mode actually does work and will ramp up the speed if it detects pollutants such as while cooking, or while blowing out a candle.

Cleaning is a breeze with the back cover of the unit easily removable to access the filter for a weekly cleaning. A little isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip to clean the sensor and you're good to go again. It really doesn't get much simpler than this. 

Overall (9.8/10): The numbers/stories say all you need to know. The only points taken off here are for the lack of smartphone integration but this is a small trade-off for the incredible performance, value and ease of use for this unit. I cannot highlight enough the effectiveness of this air purifier in that it completely relieved my allergy symptoms to where I can actually enjoy being in my home again. Whether you have a 500 sqft apartment or a large open room in a big house, this unit will not leave you disappointed. The only thing I wish is that I got this unit sooner. 

PSA: The photos show small strips of grip tape I added to the side of the unit to make it easier to pick up. In addition, I built a small stand for the unit to stand on so my robot vacuum wouldn't interfere with its function. The tape and stand are *not* included with the unit.

Highly recommended to anyone and everyone

Just received my unit and I already notice a difference.  All the youtube reviews talk about the sound on high but I tell you, it is quieter than a box fan on medium but it is putting out twice the air volume.  I've ran it 3 closed rooms for over an hour each today and when I went back in, the air smelled clean and the rooms were cooler.  I think it helped the air conditioner circulate the air for one but it really smelled fresh.  I plan to do a full on cleaning of the house now; tops of ceiling fans, baseboards and air returns.  hoping it cuts the dust down and I don't see it in the air on sunny days as I have in the past

New to purifiers and I love this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Levoit Tower True HEPA Air purifier through the tryit sampling community . This machine was awesome i like how quiet it is when it runs . That all i had to do was remove the plastic off the machine and the filter and it was ready to use. Having clean Air is important in my home with my family having allergy issues . This machine puts your mind at comfort knowing your making your home a better breathing environment for me and my family . I would def recommend this machine to anyone who would like the air in their home to be a better quality. I also love the way you can change the modes and turn this machine on and off.

Easy to use great product

My boss bought several of these for our dental office. We run them all day on medium and after each client on high during clean up. They really are quiet on low and medium. This one is about the size of a 13 gal kitchen garbage can and it looks pretty good. I'd love to have one for my house. They have taken away all the dental office “smell” and I can tell the air is much cleaner. If you have the space for this size unit, I think you'll be happy with it.

Really is quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of this air purifier was that I can never live without it. I have allergies and pets and live in a city. So you don't realize how unclean the inside air is that you're breathing. Since I have starting using this air purifier I can honestly say that the air feels cleaner and lighter in my home. It is great at removing odors from cooking, pets and in general. You can actually feel the difference when you walk into the room. My indoor allergies have also improved and I can breathe a little easier. This is one product that I cannot recommend enough.

this has ben amazing until it started making a clicking sound when on slow mode or on auto I've tried cleaning it out but it sounds like the fan bearing is going out. have had it for a little over a year
