The cam plus in theory is a great idea and give the phone a nice feel and dedicated buttons for photo and video shooting. The other nice one is a little slider button that when hit on any screen jumps you right to the camera app. Now my one gripe is the zoom wheel is not as smooth as zooming with 2 fingers in the app. A couple things that some might not know is that the cam plus battery charges the phone every once in a while when it goes below 80% i think. You also need to charge both the phone and cam plus either together or separate. I found this out the hard way after i'd been shooting with it for a whole night then took it off put the regular base on then went to clip it back on and none of the cam plus functionality was working. The cam plus battery was dead and needed to be charged. I feel like there should be some sort of warning if its attached but not charged as I initially thought it was broken.

Has great features but zoom could be smoother.

I really like this extra battery pack. It makes it easier to hold the phone to take pictures, the placement of the controls and the scroll work nicely for my hands. I dont have it on all the time as I cant find a protective case that fits this add on, but I put it on when my battery was running low and used it as a battery pack.

I exchanged my CAM more because it didn't work and the same problem this product with the second. I went to my store to tell him that he had the same problem. On the other hand, his CAM more to operate 2 days... he is waiting for an explanation from LG... probably I will get reimbursed.

I WAS a huge LG fan, but after this I doubt I'll purchase another LG phone... The cam plus model in specific won't charge my phone unless I'm constantly using it, I don't understand why. I care more about using it as a battery, same with every other person ik that has it then as a grip for my phone. As a grip, it can be accomplished a lot Easier. The shutter button is okay and the wheel is too smooth for my liking, I'd prefer some tactile feedback when using it.
