Got this set for a dinner party and they were perfect. We used the hurricane glasses for kids drinks, wine glasses for the wives, and beer glasses for the husbands. I'm going to order a second set.

These glasses are fantastic! I wanted to get drink glasses, but was having trouble finding some I liked. These have a nice variety, look great, and were very affordable. I ordered 2 sets and am thinking of ordering a 3rd so I have enough for 12 place settings. They could stand to be a little thicker. However, I bumped one over on the counter and it didn't break, and none were damage in transit (I had them shipped to the store, just in case).

Beverage set

This was the second item I ordered off a bridal registry for a shower gift. The first item was defective and this set of glasses was so dirty I had to wash all of them before I could give them as a gift. The glasses were packed in a plain brown box without a label so I am assuming they must have been taken off a store shelf. I have purchased many sets of glasses in my life and I have never opened a box to find the glasses to be so dusty and dirty. I also have never purchased a set of glasses that did not come in the box from the manufacturer-- generally a colorful box showing the glasses with the Libbey name listed. Sending our defective and dirty items is just not acceptable customer service.
