Not sure what everyone's complaining about, the new Fre is sleeker, prettier and easier to use. The charging port flap is less clunky, but still plenty secure. The volume and lock buttons are easier to press. The ringtone silencing wheel is my favorite new feature, all you have to do is pinch the sides and give it a little twist to turn off the ringer. The ridges seem to me to be something you can feel easily in your pocket to distinguish it from other buttons, and a way to maintain a grip with your fingertips, not something you need to fit your fingernails into. The volume is a huge improvement, as is touch screen sensitivity and I'm not getting air bubbles though I've seen that to be a problem in other reviews. Those who have doubts about this case may benefit from a couple weeks of a test run—see if you're still grumpy about it then. I'm pretty brand loyal to products that haven't let me down yet. My previous Fre cases have been ground up in mechanical movie theater seats, have had running chainsaws dropped on them from 4 ft, have been dropped 10 ft from trees, smushed in the mud, dropped in the snow and even a pond, with no damage to my other phones. I think this one will do just as well.

This case represents standard lifeproof quality. Screen protector and materials that are meant to last a while. Not too bulky, and a range of funky colors that I would never choose had there been more typical ones. This case is a bit less grippy than prior renditions.  I do miss the anti-slip material that my last fre case had. Also, there is no longer an option for a battery case (fre power), which would be nice.

Everything you have come to expect from lifeproof

Not into having the latest and greatest iPhone so after about 8 years (maybe more) with the same iPhone 6 I needed to upgrade to an 11. I ordered essentially the same black case I've always had. Seems good so far. The charging port cover is more difficult to open and it does totally cover up the ringer on-off switch. In the past Lifeproof's customer service and replacement policy has been excellent-I'm hoping that is still the case.

I Always Order Lifeproof

I have been a fan of the Lifeproof cases for many years, so couldn't wait for this one to come out for the new Iphone 11 pro. It has the same dependable features I have always loved, however I'm really not liking the charging port. It is difficult to open and feels flimsy when you do open it - I'm scared I'm going to rip it off!

I love the bright case colours available - means I'm less likely to loose it!

I have always liked the fact that the whole phone is covered by the case, but I'm not sure if it's the case of the phone, but since adding the case to the phone, I can't hang up after a phone call! Very annoying!

Overall I'm still loving the Lifeproof Fre, however just be aware of the couple of little glitches.

Solid and dependable

I have been a lifeproof customer for over 10 years. Every time I buy a phone I buy a lifeproof case! To say the least I'm a big fan of their products. The case is sleek, clean, and fits great in a pocket. The only thing that prevents it from being a 5star review is that no matter what I do the screen seems to have bubbles under it.

Lifeproof iPhone 11pro Fre case

I've had two Lifeproof cases in the past seven or eight years, mostly because they last for years with fairly heavy use and abuse. This case is another good one. Took me a minute to figure out how the gear for turning my phone's silent mode on and off worked, but that's my fault for not reading the instructions. 



My only two complaints about the whole thing are the the built in screen protector does not come quite flush with the top of the screen, so you have to press a little bit harder than if there were no screen protector there. That said, I have adapted and don't really even notice after a couple days.



My second complaint it that I cannot completely keep spots from appearing under the screen protector. I have wiped my phone screen and both sides of the screen protector with the included microfiber to no avail.



I love the case. It's easy to use, feels good to handle and protects my phone in every environment it's been in so far. I detail the two complaints because those are the only complaints i have for an otherwise great and trustworthy product.

This is my first time purchasing this type of case. I ordered it online at the end of October, and waited three weeks for it to come in. I've been waiting for an all black FRE case for the phone I had. I really wanted this case because of its high quality protection and the look of the case. This is a really great case, it gives great protection. I am loving the all black color and how thin and light the case is. However, I am disappointed with the screen. I took off my screen protector as the instructions said. There's no adhesive on the screen of the case, so there are so many air bubbles. There's a big portion that is on my screen, which I find unpleasant. The phone has a great design, the case looks great, but when you look at the screen then it isn't great. I would recommend this case ONLY IF you won't get bothered by the air bubbles because it still does it's job. 



If there was a screen protector under the case, there would not be any air bubbles. BUT the screen would be unresponsive sometimes.

I have this case in yellow.   I wear black scrubs to work and keep my phone in my pocket.  The yellow case turned black around all edges the first day I carried it in my scrubs.  Haven't had that problem with hard cases in the past.  This one is a squishy rubber.  Functionality of case however is great.      Like another review said, toggle for sound off and on is a bit of a aggravation.      Light color cases will stain from fabric of jeans etc if you carry in your pocket.

Yellow is tricky

Everything is good quality except the screen protector bubbles!  I am on my second one that was replaced by customer service.  They were really good about replacing it and sending it out promptly.  It looks like I will be calling them again.  I hope this problem gets fixed.

Bubbles!

Bought this as a Christmas gift and the screen began separating from the case after only one week. We have always been fans of Lifeproof cases, so this purchase was very disappointing.
