I bought this about a month or go and it is great so far. I bought a temper glass to put on my phone just in case but I love this LifeProof case so far. The only problem I have is the color fades fast and when you pull it in and out of your pocket you start to get a brown dirt ring around the case by over than that I am in love with the case.

I can't even imagine buying an expensive phone and not covering it with lifeproof! I've dropped my phone hundreds of times on concrete and its never harmed my phone. Just sold back my iPhone 8 for iPhone 11 pro max and would have never considered using any other case. Plus the apple guy was in shock that my phone was in mint condition and told him because it had always been in a lifeproof case.

Best ever

I hike, backpack, hike, etc. a lot all year for work and fun so I wanted a case that could handle that but wasnt as heavy and bulky as the Otter Boxes that I had on my last two phones. I've already put it through a lot skiing and walking around and it's held up really well. I really like how easy the charging port is to open. The sleekness is also a plus. The only downsides are that the volume buttons are REALLY hard to press, the other ones are fine. Otherwise, I wish there were some more colors added but that's not a big deal. For reference, I use this case for my iPhone 8+. Thanks Lifeproof!

For someone who is hard on their phone

Bought this about a month ago and love it! I've got an iPhone 8 Plus and it fits the phone like a glove. No change to touch sensitivity or fingerprint recognition (I set this up before putting the case on); I've had no complaints about sound quality and find the sound clear myself; photos all still come out clear too. It's a solid case that gives great bounce protection and the comfort of knowing it's waterproof (tried and tested!) so keeps salt and chlorine off my phone. The case itself isn't bulky and I love the colour :) the rubber grip on the front stops the phone slipping in hand but tends to pick up dirt easily (I've got the aqua coloured one) so I have to keep cleaning it or it looks grubby. All in all a great case, so good that I've bought another for my mum!

Beach Life

Purchased this case after I talked to a friend of mine about his Lifeproof. Word of mouth works better than any ad. Previous Iphone was in a ziplock bag when I fell into the Saint Augustine river... never was the same after. Upgraded my iPhone and went straight to lifeproof. Mind is at ease from any misfortune.

Exceptional Protection

I'm using the case for about a week now and I start noticing a few things. So, the home ‘button' has a clear thin plastic layer on top and it feels like that the part that's going to rip first. It doesn't feel really solid and doesn't look really neat as well. Second of all, the chargerport works well, but also feels like it's not going to last forever. I dislike the mute/unmute button idea, because the function gets switched. When you push the button down, the phone gets unmuted. Push it up, the phone mutes. 



However, the general design of the case feels really solid. I didn't drop it yet, luckily, but the case is quite slim and doesn't make the phone too big. I got quite tiny hands, so it surprises me that I can hold it with one hand. Although, there are some aspects of the case I don't really like, it still feels really solid and the case does its job.

I love these cases and they work really well. The issue is that they stand up to life but not life of a nurse ore healthcare provider. I for through one of these a year because it deteriorated on the rubber and switches. Dose not stand up to sanitizer, alcohol swabs or mild bleach. Life proof should come up with a nurse proof series! I would love to be a tester

Might be life proof but not healthcare proof

I bought this a month ago or so and its okay. I haven't cracked my phone yet and no damage from being in the rain but it gets dirty fast and there's this gap in the middle of the case where it clicks together that makes me nervous. I lightly dropped it on my linoleum floor and it gouged on the corner quite a bit.

Its pretty good

I've had many Lifeproof cases over the years. I like the slim profile and water protection, so it's really the only case I use. However, they don't seem to last very long for me. Either the material breaks down, the sound ports become irreversibly clogged, or...

Nevertheless, even after trying other cases, it's the only case I come back to and use.

Best case for me

I have been a HUGE life proof fan for years. Every iPhone I've had I've purchased a lifeproof case for it. I've never been disappointed with my purchase until this time...simply put, the case is too large for the iPhone8 plus. I can hear the sound of the clear plastic going up and down under my fingers as I text or type this review. But the MOST annoying part about the case is that it takes at least 12 tries of swiping up from the bottom of my locked screen before the correct menu comes up....for example, if you want to turn on the flashlight on your iPhone. The other issue is that I wanted to use my thumb to unlock my phone instead of typing in my password everytime. But that also doesn't work because of it being to large ...it doesn't read my thumb print correctly . Again, I always always always have been a huge fan and have always recommended lifeproof, but not after this iPhone8plus case :-((((

Doesn't fit iPhone 8Plus properly

I bought the case for my new (expensive) 8 plus as a means of protecting it thoroughly. The case does not seal completely and as such, the entire system is compromised. Further, the Phone shifts back and forth inside of the case, ever so slightly, as a result of the poor seal. This affects the keyboard use, the home button, etc.
