A friend of mine had purchased a Lifetime shed 8 years ago which I helped put together. His has held up well through the Island winters, so I decided to purchase one for my yard. It took me and my son in law about 10 hours to assemble. It came out great and we've had a lot of complements on how good it looks. I am very happy with my Lifetime shed.

This is really a great shed.  Of course, it does take some work in setting up a level base on which to place the shed.  Someone who can read directions and put them into action and at least a couple set of hands to get the job done.  We are so happy with this shed and look forward to many years of storage, etc.  Husband so happy to at last have a shed that he doesn't bump his head every time he enters.

Very convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a shed recently, and when I went to pick it up, I found one of the two boxes had been damaged. Once I got it home and went through the contents, I found some damaged parts and some parts missing. Sent an email to Lifetime, told them what I found and asked to be told how to get this resolved (I was willing to pay shipping etc.) Justin in Customer Service was extremely responsive and super helpful. Pictures were requested of the damaged pieces, which I provided. Within about one week all the parts were delivered - at no cost to me! You simply cannot beat this level of service.

Best service I have ever experienced

The 10 x 8 shed is a replacement for a metal shed.  The Lifetime shed is much stronger high quality construction and the end result is a shed with more usable space.  Assembly is time consuming and not easy but can be done by two adults.  Even with the copious instructions in the assembly manual, we found it valuable to contact Lifetime with assembly questions on two or three occasions and found them extremely helpful.  We broke a part during assemble and they sent us a package of replacement parts at no charge.  Customer service is outstanding.

High Quality Shed

1. Read the directions.
2. Read the directions again.
3. Begin assembly, reading the directions as you go.

First of all, make sure you have a smooth level foundation! I re-purposed a pre-existing concrete pad that I -- ahem -- assumed was level. It was only after I'd put up the walls that I discovered my error. It took a lot of extra work to make things right. Don't repeat this mistake.

HINT: Prevent a sticky mess by bringing the butyl caulking for the windows inside to cool down and firm up before attempting to insert into the grooves.

It is definitely a two-person job to install the roof and the supports. Otherwise, it is up to your discretion. I was able to install the walls by myself. 

There is sufficient tolerance built in to the engineering of this shed to allow for the clumsiness of amateur builders, yet the finished product looks very professional.

I am very happy with my new shed.

Read the Directions!

This is a really great, high quality resin shed.  Only problem is the directions are "difficult" to understand at times.  Good news is there instructional videos on You-tube to clear things up.  All in all a great purchase.

Great shed...but...

Missing gutter channels.

I bought this shed because it was the best price out there. Once I started assembly, I quickly discovered why. The parts are misshapen and you have to modify them by trimming them back or by leaving gaps in the shed to make it fit. The hardware was terrible, with the most common screw provided formed wrong and missing the tips of the screws. Don't leave the floor in the sun because it literally starts to melt. Buy at your own peril, we got it assembled but it took many modifications and work arounds. The instructions were terrible and poorly planned. The steel supported nonsense involves screwing a vertical thin piece of steel onto each hollow plastic panel. The windows are plastic, the roof is over complicated, the corner pieces don't fit correctly. I would rather risk building it myself than to buy another one of these, and I suck at framing
