I have been wanting a basketball hoop for my nine year old son for awhile now.  This one is perfect! I wish i would have purchased it sooner.  This is getting us outside to go outside to our backyard, which is much needed, especially during this quarantine!

I called lifetime and they sent me out a new backboard no charge. Thank you for making my sons birthday...

Great customer service

My wife and I put this together.  It took us about 5 hours with minimal skills.  It was a nice day so it wasn't so bad.  You need to watch the YouTube videos as well as double check with the directions.  The hoop is nice.  My concern is with the base.  It tells you to fill it with 250lbs of sand however it doesn't really become portable if you do it that way.  The only way it becomes portable is if you place the sand bags on top and then move it around.  It's too late for us unless someone has a way that we can take out some sand.  My kids like it but when he asks me to move it around somewhere you know know what I'm going to say.

Overall happy with the new goal; however, after assembling per the instructions and tightening all the bolts, etc. it is "tilted" slightly toward the right as you face the backboard to shoot. Also, the link I received via Lifetime's email to activate the warranty is apparently broken and did not take me to a warranty activation website.

Based on other reviews over the years, this backboard will break in the middle. I believe a manufacturing defect. 80% of shots will hit this spot. Does not live up to the "LIFETIME" brand. I live in Los Angeles with 2 small kids. No one was hanging on the rim. Just falls apart in only that spot after time. Purchased within 3 years. 
They wouldn't replace mine without showing a proof of purchase. I didn't keep mine like many people. Let's upgrade the systems for warranties. better improve the cheap quality.
