Great bench!  Not awesome instructions, and we are seasoned assemblers of boxed items.  It's really sturdy and the lever to raise lower the “table” portion works well.  We may invest in another next summer so we can enjoy the picnic table arrangement.  Overall, highly recommend if you have assembly skills (or know someone who does)!

Great bench, confusing instructions

I bought two of these back in November 2019 and they've held up very well. They're perfect for using as a large table, or splitting to place our fire pit in the center. After leaving them out all last winter uncovered (we usually secure a tarp over them), they're still in great shape and convert easily. If they take in water at all during rain, I've never noticed it. They don't drip, leak, or rust. The only problem we've had is a few loose/stripped screws in the seat slats, which were easily replaceable. Highly recommend these benches.

We bought 4 of these benches for a new deck we are building.  They are made of sturdy metal and, as advertised are easy to change from bench to table top.  I built them by myself and I was having difficulty installing the bolts under the bench seat and table top/bench back.  However, I realized that you could “tip” the bench on it's side and get full visibility to the “holes” for these bolts (see picture).  

With this tip (sorry for the Dad joke)...I was able to build the second bench in less than 1 hour.

When we have a large gathering we have a beautiful large picnic table and when we are done plenty of room for bench conversion to sit and visit. I recently had some slats pop at the ends. I contacted lifetime via e-mail to get replacement slats and not only did they respond right back but within a few hours they had them on their way at no charge. This is one heck of a great company. Neighbor came over and I told them about the service and he ordered 2 convertible benches for his patio. Rare and great company with one heck of a super service department. I'm a lifetime fan and all my future purchases is LIFETIME.

WOW, EXCELENT product and service

The tables are so well constructed and very sturdy and user-friendly. They were time consuming to put together. They are very easy to get in and out of and we love the fact that they convert to benches. We purchased these for use in a picnic pavilion at a small mountain resort.

Love Lifetime Products

Received the bench but didn't open it for several days.  The box looked to be in good condition considering the weight.  I opened the box today to put it together and found that the bench is damaged with a crack to one of the slates.  I was bummed out.  Not sure if Walmart will just replace the one piece.  I fear someone will tear clothes on it.

Repair or replace?

The item pictured on the website and the pictures in the assembly instructions, is not the same as the items received...  The advertised item on the website shows no screws on the seating section of the unit, which was why we bought two of these items...  We've had other outdoor furniture and the screws always rust and look bad - We wanted these for our front porch and they need to look presentable.  Many rusted screws on the most visible portion of the units will stand out.  We will return them and look elsewhere for items that are advertised as they really are.
