[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family just moved into a new house and we were very excited about having the in-ground basketball hoop, and a high quality one such as Lifetime. When we were all moved in and I went to go play for the first time, I noticed that the height handle was damaged. I found the warranty and manual information left from the previous owners and contacted customer service. Even though the warranty was expired, they were still willing to work with me and ended up sending all of the necessary replacement parts free of charge. Very nice to see from a customer service stand point.

In ground basketball pole

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sturdy goal. We live on the coast %26 our wind is very strong. This goal holds up in gales!

Sturdy Goal

I broke a carriage bolt when tightening too hard.  I found the parts I needed in the manual and called customer service.  I left a call back number, 15 minutes later, I received a call.  I asked for the replacement parts and they shipped them to me FREE!!  I offered to pay,but she said no problem.  The entire transaction took less than 5 minutes.  So nice.  So helpful.

Hoop

The instructions are missing steps 4.7 & 4.8. It makes the install process confusing. Had to look up the missing steps via the video resource.

Decent hoop

Solid build. Instruction manual was missing 2 steps, fortunately I watched the video instructions as well so I caught it.

Mostly good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the hoop is a good value. The parts need to be more organized. Seems like you have to search through all the bags to get what you need. It should be one part bag for each stage that you do. I had the wrong parts on three different items.

Good Hoop

I am a bit disappointed in how the hoop sways and moves in the wind and when a basketball is being shot at it. I thought it would be much more stable. This was not an easy hoop to put together. It took us countless hours to assemble and the instructions for assembly had pieces lettered but none of the pieces in the box had any lettering on it so we had to guess which part was which. The backboard was also gouged on the back side with something black. However, the raising and lowering mechanism is better than I thought it would be. If I had to repurchase a hoop I would make sure it had a square pole (even if it means paying a little extra). I think the square pole would help make the hoop much more stable.
