I just received the pair if kayaks and couldnt wait to try mine out. If you are looking for a basic kayak this is the one. I took it out on calm water and i had a great time. The paddels that come with it coukd be a little longer so you will get wet from water dripping on you. If you need a basic kayak I would recomend this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this kayak three years ago as a gift and I have had so much fun with it! It is incredibly stable (my grandchildren climb off and on it with me and it barely rocks), tracks nicely on our lake and has all the features I wanted for flat water.  The customer service from Lifetime has been exemplary. I have only had two issues in three years - the front handle broke and the drain plug tether broke resulting in the loss of the drain plug.  Both times it was easy to contact Lifetime and they quickly sent me replacements and their agents were very pleasant.  I also purchased Lifetime children's kayaks for my grandchildren from which they have received many hours of entertainment.

My kids have enjoyed their previous 2 Lifetime kayaks and look forward to getting them on the water with these new bigger ones.

Great Customer Service

I love my Lifetime kayaks - bought a 2nd one this summer since I loved the first one so much.  My (not so careful) son used them a ton and so a few of the parts were broken/went missing and Lifetime sent me replacement parts free of charge - I was so impressed!

I love my kayaks, both of which are Lifetime kayaks. I love when I find that I made a good choice by realizing I used an amazing company that gets what customer service should be like. Thank you Lifetime for restoring my faith in customer service. Companies like yours are few and far between.

So Happy With this Company!

Easy to use kayak! Easily carried by one person. We use on the lake to paddle around and also on rivers with currents. 

Handle at front and back of kayak are easy to use for carrrying. Some kayaks done have these so its a nice feature. 

The sit-on style is my favorite and allows space for my toddler to sit between legs. The seat is comfortable and adjusts easily. The molded foot rests allow for me to extend  legs or bend. 

Drain plug is easy to use but I havent had any issues with kayak taking on any unwanted water internally. 

The bungee cord in back is very handy to strap down dry bag or towels. Cup holder is nice to hold water bottle or insulated cup. I found best not to have cup without lid because water runoff from paddle falls right where cup holder is. 

When on water, its easy to stand on shore and dump excess water from kayak if needed. There is a molded handle that assists in this process. 

Very stable when on water. GREAT value for the price!!! Ive determined fancier kayaks dont mean more fun, its about getting out there and this kayak is the perfect one for me!!

Great kayak

Lifetime has my business for my lifetime!  I ordered my kayak online, and when it was delivered, through no fault of Lifetime, there was minor damage. One of the loop plug holes,  where a rope handle is attached to,  had been sheared off.  It is a threaded piece that can be easily fixed. I called lifetime, and without hesitation, they sent me a new loop plug hole at no cost.  I received the replacement part within three business days.   The best customer service I've experienced in a long time!

I love the kayak!  The included paddle is of good quality.  The handle cut out in the center makes it easy to carry a moderate distance. Seems well built and durable.

Great product, superb customer service!

After getting over the excitement of it arriving I actually got a good look at it. It arrived dented on the bottom and big scratches on the sides. I hope it actually floats. The packing was not there. It came in a big plastic bag. I can't test this thing out because it's the middle of winter and it will be too late to return when the weather warms up. Although it's a “cheap” kayak, I don't want to throw away that kind of money.

Too heavy and one of the handles popped out the first time I took it on the water.

Will return. Deceptively heavy.
