[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed theses shutters on my new shed last weekend, installation took all of 10 mins doing it by myself (reaching through open window). Wow what a difference it made , the window looked so plain before, they match the roof and doors perfectly.

Great purchase!

Shutters are nice, but I couldn't figure out how to screw them in per the instructions given, and didn't want to make a mistake. So I ended up attaching them with heavy-duty waterproof velcro sticky tabs.  So far, so good.

Shed Shutter Kit

The shutters are fine, as promised.  Seems like you could invent a way to have it installed by one person.  As it is, a second person has to apply pressure from outside, while the first person screws it on.

How many consumers to install Lifetime shutters?

I ordered the shutters to add a little class to my new 8x15 shed and I am totally pleased with the purchase. The quality is quite fine, the installation instructions quite clear, and the appeal of the shutters is quite lovely. The gray color matches the trim on my house so that is an extra blessing. The only negative I find personally is the price. I do think that they should be priced at only half of the current price but Lifetime has a corner on the market so one must pay the price. If the price was cut in half I would most certainly give the shutters all five stars.

What's not to love!

I bought this three weeks ago and got it all together this past Sunday 9-3-17. The boxes were marked 1,2,3 and 4. Box 2 was on top pf box one and 3 was on top of box 4. I was looking for the directions box one should have been where they were. No they were ion box 4. Also the boxes should be mark exactly what is inside each box. I was in the 2 car garage for the sub assemblies. The boxes were taking up to much room. The boxes SHOULD BE PACKED SO STEP ONE THEN STEP TWO AND SO ON. I should not have to open every box to go through the steps. The shutter kit, the screws were not long enough. I just went to the hardware store and got shutter screws. Plus there are gaps between the roof panels. The water then runs down the channels. I plan to caulk those seems. Also the the putty tape should be a brown color not black. I also caulked around the sun rood windows. The tabs to closed the side windows to not ratchet. I need to file down the inside to make it work. That is a bad design. Also I got extra parts that are not mentioned in the manual. They seem to match up with screws holes in the roof panels to hold up other metal braces, but not screw was mention to use for that. I don't want to screw through the roof. 
The directions need to expanded with larger drawings. You could have a 11 by 17 folded sot the drawing of a step could be seen better and have more detail.

Would I buy another on. except, for the size. 11.5 by 13.5, I would go back to Suncast.

installation of this product doesn't line up properly and i had to glue it. i read instructions and tried to look for a youtube video on it and it didn't help

shutter installation

Directions are not good at all, 3 do it yourself people and we put them on the shelf and did not install. Same people that built the shed and installed the snow load kit. We are not dummies. I do not recommend the shutters for that reason alone
