The home bridge works as intended with MyQ compatible garage openers. Installation is as easy as it can be. In addition of remote door operation via the phone app or Apple HomeKit, it sends alerts every time the garage door is opened / closed. One drawback Is the loud annoying chime that cannot be turned off on the bridge or set to off in the app when the garage order is closed via the app. I supposed it's meant as a default safety feature.

The device works well and integrates with Apple Home app very well I am pleased with the results and would recommend it to others. However, the installation instructions are simply horrible. They have no layout of the lights (where, what color, what do they mean) and there's not even a mention of the three buttons on the side. Without Google to find instructions on how to perform an install (or reset if it doesn't work!) you will be at a loss of how to proceed.  OBTW, it should be included with the new openers and not even require a second device/expense.

Nice, once you get it installed

Like my title says, it's great when it works, but 50% of the time it does NOT work. No clue why, but Siri is telling me that it's not responding. Then I have to use the MyQ app to operate the garage doors. A bit frustrating considering the price of this device. I even installed a range extender to get full WiFi signal in my garage......still.

It's great when it works and it does 50% only

I bought so siri can open/close the garage door as my car does not come with homelink. However, it only works when leaving. Coming home I have to fumble with the app. I was purchasing it for that reason. Home kit supposed to allow that set up. So, far haven't found that setting.

If you are already using myQ to control your doors over WiFi and are looking to add HomeKit support the instructions say to leave the openers connected to WiFi. This is incorrect, first you need to clear the opener's WiFi settings and let the bridge act as an access point. After many failed attempt following the instructions I finally reset the openers and they paired fine on the first try. The coverage is fine and the bridge is about 80 feet from my side garage opener.

Ignore the setup quick start

It works great with the Liftmaster app. It does not work so well when you integrate it with Homekit. It doesn't work reliably and constantly shows incorrectly if doors are opened and closed.

Good but not great

This is not as easy to setup as you might think. It required more guides than is provided in the box. I have tried to set this up several times and once it was finally connected, it disappeared from my app as if it never existed and I had to start over. I have so far done this three times. I would not recommend this product. Spend more money and buy a garage door opener with default HomeKit compatibility rather than deal with wonky, poorly coded bridges

Don't buy this bridge. You'll regret it

Product does not work as expected.  Do not buy.
Our dealer did a great job installing our new doors with the Liftmaster wall mounted opener.  Got the iOS MyQ app working fine with both doors.

I wanted Siri support.  To start with, it is really bogus that LiftMaster requires a bridge,  I still wanted Siri support to I ordered the bridge anyway.  It starts up fine, shows up in the MyQ app and Scans the HomeKit Code fine.   However it refused to connect to the door opener.  

Some documentation indicates that the opener has to be have Wi-Fi completely reset but this is an unacceptable action on an opener that is currently operating properly.  

LiftMaster seems to have the problem so many other traditional manufacturers have.   They make great hardware but their software needs a *lot* of improvement.

MyQ Siri bridge does not set up properly

I can't believe this is not built into the expensive direct drive they sell. When you spend that kind of money it should be able to communicate with Siri and or anything else without paying more. Ridiculous!

Completely unnecessary

Could not get it to work, support gave up on me after spending time to get it resolved.  Ultimately we could not get it to work.  I've wasted my money.

Don't buy for Homekit unless you have patience
