Briwax is a solvent based blend of beeswax and carnauba wax. Briwax has long been recognized by furniture restoration professionals as a premiere, multi-purpose furniture wax. It produces a lustrous patina, not a glossy surface shine. I have used this product over many years in two different homes where the hardwood floors were not sealed, and Briwax has been wonderful in renewing the color of my floors and hardwood steps.  I don't want to seal the floors because Briwax renews the color and sheen so beautifully.  Glad I can purchase it through Wal-Mart.  Thankful for making it available.

I have an old pine floor in a central room that see a lot of traffic. Briwax returns the wood to look as good as new, or maybe even better. The only reason I gave 4 stars to couple of answers is that the container is very challenging to open, and you absolutely must remember to secure the second lid when you're finished. If you don't the wax dries up and doesn't work as well. They did add a warning to the lid, so maybe this time I'll remember? Hope so.

My go-to to rejuvenate my floor

I have used this wax for over 30 years.  I use it on antique metal pieces and it brings them to life.  Use it on antique wooden items after I have stained the wood and let it dry.  After applying  with cloth or find steel wool and letting it dry rub it down with clean cloth ( I used old socks) and it brings out a nice polished finish.  I use mostly the dark wax.

Excellent product that is relatively hard to find. Antique natural wood loves this wax. Be warned though, it is a petroleum based hydrocarbon that needs to be stored in a cool and dry place.
